Dad diagnosed with bone mets, confused, need some info plz..
My question is, is it possible to have bone
metastasis
with such a low PSA? also is it possible that his initial biopsy in November was wrong? because in January his scan showed several mets, how could it have metastasized from stage 2 to stage 4 in two months, that seems unrealistic to me!

PSA numbers on QoL Vacation (copy)
However, to the best of my knowledge, I do not have cancer that is
metastasis
to my bones. The best my wife and I can recall is we were both told that it was aPC but was confined to the gland but was also told that ERT included treatment to the pelvic area?????

SKIN METS | VINORELBINE (Navelbine)
Hi there My skin mets have progressed and I’m now off 18 months of hormone therapies and back onto chemo, this time on oral Vinorelbine, which I am due to start in a few days’ time. Would appreciate any experiences with this drug. And treatment or skin mets. I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer

Update on my Dad: 4 months since last PSA and Provenge
His last scans looked great with no evidence of
metastasis
on the scans. What do you think? Is there harm in waiting to start another line of therapy or should he start immediately? Thanks in advance!

All stable - Phew
Hi My Oncologist rang yesterday and advised that me bloods were fine and I can continue on palbociclib & letrozole. As you know, I’m missing a couple of Denosumab injections. So I celebrated stable yesterday, by baking scones & enjoying a cream tea with my husband & a bottle of champagne 🍾 I’m so

Ibrance vs Piquray
I have been stable almost 2 years on Ibrance, Letrazole and Xgeva. My latest bone scan is stable. The CT showed that a "shadow" in my liver grew about 1cm (previous 7 tumors are gone). My Oncologist wants to change me to Piquray and Fuvestrant, because I have the mutation. But he has no patients currently

Good News for HER2 Positive MBC Patients!
If your cancer is HER2 positive and you’ve already had one or more HER2-directed therapies for metastatic disease, then you’re eligible to receive the newly-approved combination of the oral drug Tukysa (Tucatinib) with Xeloda (capecitabine) and Herceptin (or an approved biosimilar). FDA-approval

Best Meds for MO CRPC?
Tests show they extend
metastasis
-free survival by 36-40 months. But my doc says no; says they'd have only a 10% chance of working! He didn't specify a drug; seemed to lean toward chemo. As MO CRPC, is it really time for that? And what's wrong with the receptor-inhibitors?

Update on husband and decisions to make
CT scan and nuclear bone scan show no
metastasis
at this point. We scheduled consult with Moffitt in Tampa (surgeon and radiologist) and Memorial Sloan Kettering (surgeon and radiologist). Because of current situations, all consults have been via zoom or FaceTime.

Lucrin after orchidectomy
When my dad knew he got prostate cancer (Jun 2018), it was already bond
metastasis
(stage 4) with Gleason score of 8 (4 + 4). He took the surgery to remove the testicles (orchidectomy) in Jul 2018 then took Casodex from Feb 2019 when PSA started rising again.

Tales of the Stupid Phoenix Bird.
The one quickly growing
metastasis
was about to cut into the spinal cord so we had to shoot it with radiation beams first and then jump into the double chemo pool. It was a scary experience but the recovery was wonderful. Spring 2020.

Enzalutamide-Resistant PCa & 5-LOX Inhibition.
Seems that Ghosh is still looking at 5-LOX - this time in the context of Xtandi resistance: "... even after initial good response, enzalutamide-resistant prostate cancer (ERPC) develops which eventually leads to widespread
