New to Ibrance
Hi, I'm new to this site. Just started Ibrance and Letrozole. On my second week now. Get my first blood test and EKG on Monday. Hope my numbers are good. No real side affects yet. I bit of constipation which I'm trying to manage with diet. I had breast cancer 20yrs ago but went into remission, thought

Am I right to think that PET-TT isn’t always accurate regarding bone

? That Naf-PET is better?

Tumour markers dropped
Hi Ladies Had bloods done yesterday and my CA153 marker has dropped from 783 to 472...this is now my third month of faslodex injections and I’m feeling a bit more optimistic ( but wary of doing so!) but for the first time in almost a year there’s been a drop twice in the markers Scan next month will

I want to drop Everolimus and be only on Fulvestrant/Faslodex + Xgeva
Hi everyone, hope you’re staying safe. I was on Everolimus 10mg for a month and just finished my first month of 7.5mg dosage. Due to the side affect of painful face rashes I would like to stop taking Everolimus. Meanwhile, I am on Faslodex since February and Xgeva since December 2019. I would like

The Road Less Traveled
Since many men who first present with a Gleason 9 when in their 70’s may have been harboring that cancer for years , the urologist ordered a sodium fluoride bone scan to rule out skeletal

Can I do more/should I be concerned? PSA got down, PSMA PET/CT scan shows reduced tumor burden - BUT some is not and one increased........
One lymf node showed the same activity.. but one rib (costa 8) which was only a shadow during my PSMA-scan at diagnosis is now clearly active.. so it increased and what they back then wasn't sure if it was a
metastasis
or not is now sure.. it is...

Switching to verzenio - progression to liver
I’ve been on Ibrance since 2016 with bone metA only. Now being switched to verzenio along with faslodex due to liver mets. Was just wondering how anyone handled this treatment and how long did it work. Very nervous over the side effects and just having liver mets. Any insight or tricks for the side

Can Letrozole account for shimmers all over my body?
As a woman relatively new to MBS to the liver, I have a lot of questions. I will begin with this most pressing one. Could Letrozole account for shimmers/trembling/feeling of electricity surging throughout my body, mostly in my legs but perhaps in concert with my heart pumping? The answers I have got

Hurrah!!!!
So excited. Just got my CT AND MRI results back and all three mets are stable (liver, lungs and spine). Have been off my main chemo for three weeks so am absolutely thrilled. Oncologist still wants me to take a few more weeks off as side effects of Xeloda on my tummy we’re so bad. So it is just denosumab

I have a very close friend who also has

Glad to be part of an understanding group
Hi there I feel that this path is so long. Began in 2004 with bilateral mastectomy and TAC chemo. Then in 2014 tumor markers high pet scan showed bone meets. Faslodex added to Arimidex and now Ibrance is replacing Arimidex. Sometimes I feel that instead of the side effects I'd rather live my life free

After Radical Prostatectomy PSA and Radition with/without Hormone Therapy

Caregiver burnout
She has complications that have caused her to become legally blind as well as leptomingeal disease and bone

in her spine that cause serious back pain and headaches. I know how miserable she is and feel like a heel for being exhausted. I don't know what to do.

Metastasis directed therapy for oligometastatic prostrate cancer
A recent article published by the Prostrate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA) May 6, 2020 claims that understanding and treating oligometastatic prostrate cancer is a priority for PCFA and for researchers with each trial building on earlier discoveries and hopefully getting closer to breakthroughs
