NHS treatment or not?
What are people's thought on the following situation. I have two children ages 5 and 7 from my previous marriage (my wife died 2.5 years ago in a car accident). I had a vasectomy 4 years ago and remarried earlier this year. My new wife is a tetraplegic but is able to conceive and have children naturally

My story of Living with Metastatic Breast Cancer
I had a
mastectomy
, chemotherapy, and radiation. And I was on hormone therapy for about eight years. Around the ninth year, there was evidence of something in my spine on one of my scans. There was metastasis to bone there.

Heartburn type pains?
Hi all, I had a laparoscopic cystectomy on Friday to remove an endometrioma on my left ovary. I dont have a lot of pain in my stomach area, more achey but my chest feels like I have heartburn. I assume it's still the gas, as I do occasionally have shoulder tip pain. I'm trying to get out each day for

Would you have a vasectomy?
There's a new article on the Men's Health Forum site today about post-vasectomy pain: https://www.menshealthforum.org.uk/vasectomy-kick-balls What’s your experience of vasectomy? Have you had one? Are you considering it? Would you never do it?

Being HER2+ Strengthened My Faith
My treatment in 2013 had consisted of a bilateral
mastectomy
with reconstructive surgery. I had chosen not to take chemo or Tamoxifen.

Going Flat: Whether To Reconstruct or Not
Some women are choosing to defy medical advice and social convention after mastectomies, saying they would rather live without breasts than undergo more surgery. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/01/well/live/going-flat-after-breast-cancer.html?smid=nytcore-ipad-share&smprod=nytcore-ipad

Surgery over
Just wanted to say that yesterday I had a right breast
mastectomy
along with the removal of a couple of lymph nodes. I was only in hospital for 18 hours and am home now controlling the user friendly drain. A nurse will come and visit tomorrow.

Week 8 Complete - but having an enforced break
However my dilemma is that on Wednesday I have to go into hospital to have some reconstruction work done following a
mastectomy
I had in the spring. This will mean that I will have to have some time off running/exercise (possibly 6 to 8 weeks).
