Shikha's Story - Part II
Yes, I have had a bilateral
mastectomy
followed by reconstructive surgery of both breasts. All this was done last year in July. Mom helped. God bless her. I am still deciding on my Opherectomy... the surgery that will remove my ovaries.

Hi I was diagnosed in Sept 2012 with severe stage 4 endo at laparoscopy (after my GP kept telling me I had IBS). B12 supplements
Hi all Every three months I go to my GP to have a B12 injection, as following a total gastrectomy and no stomach the body is unable to convert B12. However, just noticed an ad for Methyl B-!2 lozenges which dissolve under the tongue, entering the blood stream direct, not via the digestive system

About the real me! And a thank you to you all.
Where do I start. I started having joint pain when I was 13 which slowly got worse and spread as I got older to my knees and lower back. When I turned 16 I studied as a chef but unfortunately could not pursue a career in it as my back was so severe I was in agony all the time. By then I was 19 going

47 years old Male, an amazing wife who keeps herself fit trim and healthy despite a
mastectomy
. Then why do I weigh 118 kGS and am 5ft 11 in tall.?Sort yourself out! Used to go to the gym 3 times per week. Change of job no nearby gyms but a pub within 100 yards of my office. It has to stop.

Anger and anxiety
They had to undertake a double
mastectomy
as a preventive measure. I am the older and the only one that does not have the gene. I am struggling with it. I should be happy but I keep asking myself why. I have been having serious anger problems and my husband has asked for a divorce.

Why are people with Breast Cancer stigmatized?

mastectomy
- removing of breasts and breast tissue- to take care of that) and I have about 49% chance of being diagnosed with

early days post op
My husband had a total gastrectomy on the 8th of Jan 2012 - quickly followed on the 11th Jan a surgery as his bowel had risen and popped through his diaphram and fused with his lungs. This then caused pneumonia. He has been home since 21st of Jan. Things seemed ok for the first few days with a little

Adenomyosis ? Awaiting 4th Decapeptyl injection and hopefully an hysterectomy.
i am 41 and am lucky enough to have 2 children aged 5 to 8. I have always suffered with mood swings and have been in and out of therapy and on and off depressants since puberty. Periods up until pregnancy were heavy but not painful and i managed good work record. Problems really started with pregnancy

Out of Action!
So, after an inspiring start, I got sick so had a few days off. Then I got a hospital appointment through and figured I'd just have to start at the beginning again so I'd just wait till after surgery. Anyway... I went in on Friday. The op went well but the aftermath not so great. I had a strange
