To massage or not to massage?
Has anyone had any luck with
massage
therapy? I was considering an aromathetapy
massage
and wondered if anyone has tried this as a regular (like once or twice a month) treatment and if so has it been helpful? I'm also considering acupuncture.

Parkrun done though a bit disappointing
However, I have a bit of leg pain going on, had a sports
massage
this week but still have the pain. I can run through it though. I also haven't done a full 5k since 31st December, so my new Garmin tells me. So I guess maybe it wasn't so bad after all. I just need to get out there a bit more!

Sorting it all out
In one year I have seen 4 Drs and 2 physical therapists, as well as a
massage
therapist. I believe I have myofacial pain syndrome on one side of my rib cage which has probably caused me to take a higher steroid dose than necessary over the past year, but who knew!

Can deep tissue massage cause a flare?
My question is this - can deep tissue
massage
cause issues such as above (not kidney stones obviously)?

Weird Abdomen Feels
It's not a mass or anything I've been to my doctor and a
massage
therapist. They felt it and everything and there's nothing abnormal there. Even my doctor says there nothing to worry about. But it's weird. My certified best friend says I'm feeling digestion or whatever. Anyone else?

A good day 😊 Including prosthesis shopping Complementary therapies and head 'shave'
I now have an appointment for a hypnotherapy session and a
massage
. I know I can always visit as a paying customer as I am interested in mindfulness and or meditations that they also offer. I don't feel quite so alone. I then had an appointment with BCN and had a prosthesis fitted.

Physio Update
Went to see my physio this morning and she confirmed that, as I suspected, I have Plantar Fasciitis :-( She did some ultrasound and
massage
and has given me some specific exercises to do and said that I'm fine to use the cross-trainer but no running for the time being.
