Is it correct that we can't have a
massage
and if so why? I get very stressed and find a
massage
relaxes me and I forget everything for an hour or so and I feel so much better for it . I have ET and take hydroxy and aspirin and blood pressure meds .

My anxiety from 0-100!! 😢
Also when I have a
massage
always told my neck is stiff! Have mouth ulcers on the top of mouth convinced myself it’s oral cancer 😢 now from my mouth to my brain not even thought about my painful mouth 😢 don’t know why I’ve spent my Friday night googling brain aneurism.

Chronic Paryoxysmal Hemicrania
Fast forward to present day (to keep my story short) I had been to over 14 specialists; ophthalmologists, ear nose and throat, cranial sacral,
massage
therapists, acupuncturists etc. I could not get a diagnosis and it was totally making my quality of life diminish.

Little run
This time tight quads so had sports
massage
..ouch and have some extra stretches to do. So now back on the road to trying to consolidate 😁 My aim is to get to 5km by my year anniversary- 2nd Jan ... so not aiming high but with my injury history I can’t ! Also aim to do a park run before then too.

Anyone else have the odd reaction to touch/
massage
that working out a knot in the knee, for instance, will make head shake or arms spasm?

So I that’s me out for a little while...😔
He suggested that my knee issues where due to very tight muscles and after a deep
massage
to go back to Week 5 & try a gentle run today.

massage
on my legs last week and Jen has motivated me to get moving again as I was fit and rode my horse every day up to last year when I had life changes on the job front and lost everything apart from my home . Thank God ! I still have that .

On the Bench again!!
So today I have booked a sports
massage
with the lovely Emma, unfortunately not till tomorrow afternoon, as she is really busy just before she goes on maternity leave. But she knows my little issues and was instrumental in sorting my ankle out so fingers crossed.

I booked myself a sports
massage
Tuesday and after a good nights sleep, a Pilates session concentrating on freeing up my lower back and a hot shower I felt fantastic yesterday morning.

Tightness and Tennis Balls
I plan to start regular
massage
again next week. I am to all intents and purposes self managing as I haven’t seen my GP but pop in for regular bloods. All of which are normal. I am trying to work out if I am doing okay and sticking to my tennis ball and reducing pred is okay? I work full time.

Alien limb treatments
We have tried
massage
and splints and our UCL neurologist suggested Botox injections but we have been advised that there are only 2 consultants in the north east who can administer and it would require a week of hospitalisation! Any advice welcome. Thanks

Massage Roller
Way back someone mentioned the roller, the devils instrument for working out knots and tight muscles. Anyone recommend a good one? I take at least 10 mins to stretch off after run but have a problem with tightness in vicinity of back of knee at top of my calf. Ta in advance
