RLS and Exercising
Hi, I know what is that, I mean, whenever I make excercises, I have terrible problems to sleep. And normally I do sport once or twice a week from 16;00 till 18:00. I don‘t know why exercises makes it worst for us who suffer of RLS. I used to take magnesium, believing that it could help, but as I never

Hypo symptoms with low TSH (medicated)
Hi everyone, I am a bit at a loss here and some insight would be welcomed. Since March I have been on 75mcg levothyroxine, which helps me to get out of bed in the mornings, which I take alongside a cocktail of supplements (folate, iron, magnesium, vitamin D). But my weight refuses to budge even if I

Exercising and RLS (Half-Marathon Training)

Advice on latest thyroid blood test
Hi, Please would someone be able to advise me on my latest blood tests? I just want to know if my levels are looking ok, or if I should try to push for an increased dose. I’ve increased from 75 mcg to 100 mcg Aristo Levothyroxine and just tested again after 8 weeks at the higher dose. I feel a bit better

Severe chronic insomnia. Deteriorating. No strength now. Almost bedridden. Help.
0-2 hours sleep daily now. Too weak to write much. Body feels like it's collapsing from inside. For last 7 months deteriorating. I hv insomnia n RLS both. Insomnia even if rls not there. Tried zolpidem, clonazepam, etizolam, but not working anymore, n increasing them makes me sick. I think trazodone

Do I need Magnesium.Levels already quite high.
Having read many posts recommending Magnesium I asked my doctor if I could take it with my many medications as I sometimes have real problems with night cramps. She organised blood test and it showed serum level 0.91 mmol/L and acceptable range is 0.7-1.00. I never went back to her as records show No

Magnesium
Where do you all buy your magnesium taurate from in the UK? Difficult to find a reputable source. When I look into which kind of magnesium supplements contain, some are just not acceptable. Thanks in advance 😀

How I've Been Handling PV
I highly respect this forum and the sharing of experiences. I would like to share my experiences. I have had Polycythemia Vera for over 15 years. I am 79 years old. I have taken HU a few times when my platelets rose to 1,500,000.I am a firm believer that food is medicine and do not take medication unless

Strange leg pain
Last night when I was in bed, I rolled over and suddenly felt an ache down the outside of my left calf. It felt the way you do when you have overworked a muscle. I was going to get up to get some magnesium spray downstairs, but when I began to walk I felt incredible pain--the kind you feel when a muscle

Adrenaline during asthma attacks
Anyone had this? How does it work? I had an adrenaline injection and the rest nebulised (along with hydrocortisone, magnesium, atrovent nebs, and salbutamol nebs) yesterday evening during a bad attack (silent parts of my chest again etc.). Not staying in any longer than needed being discharged today

Dialysis HEADACHE!
I get a headache almost every time I go to dialysis lately. My blood pressure goes up during dialysis and that may be the trigger, but curious if anyone else has had this issue and how they deal with it or avoid it. I tried magnesium supplements and that does seem to help.

Help! How do you feel when starting Levothyroxine?
Hello I joined this group some time ago ( I think about a year ago). I posted my results from blood tests at that time and had some great advice . Since then I have read many many posts and educated myself as much as I can on hypothyroidism. I’ve taken the suggested vitamins and taken care of myself
