Is there a test to see how successful my gluten free diet is?
As I do not suffer any obvious adverse reaction to eating gluten, and it's got me thinking of how do I know if I'm being glutened, or even if I'm being damaged by codex levels. Can my GP tell with just a blood test or do I need to undergo another biopsy .

Can anyone recommend a gluten-free shampoo? What gluten-free beauty brands work for you?
Have decided to take the extra step of removing gluten from the toiletries I use, as it seems logical to me to do so, even if opinion is currently divided on this issue. I am particularly keen to source a gluten-free shampoo and conditioner, as one problem that has yet to respond to my gluten-free diet

Oh, I'm 'super sensitive' don't you know......gluten free labelling of a different type!
Seeing the current question from Pretender re diagnosing 'super sensitive coeliacs' got me searching for a previous posting that I remember seeing by GFG: http://glutenfreeguerrillas.healthunlocked.com/questions/14288/do-sensitive-coeliacs-exist Now here's my view, I don't believe in various catagories

What positive things has Coeliac Disease taught you? List your top 3.
After a while on a gluten free diet can you reflect and list your top 3 things that you've learnt, discovered, managed, changed as a result the diagnosis? i.e. have you explored foods you wouldn't normally eat? Have you ditched the Free From aisle products for eating naturally gluten free? Have you adopted

Still getting symptons
Hi all am fairly new to this (diagnosed about 4 months) and on a gluten free diet. Am getting bowel problems similar to when I was eating gluten that seem to have started over last two weeks. Am trying to avoid cross contamination although I live with others who are on a normal diet I am really careful

Just been diagnosed and a month gluten-free, but feeling even WORSE - has anyone else had this?
Hi all After having been really ill for a year (aching joints, tiredness, bad skin, hair loss, hormonal issues) - I was finally diagnosed as having Coeliac by my third consultant. My biopsy in November confirmed it and I have been on a gluten-free diet for just over a month. I was kind of hoping

Low glycemic diet
I'm lying on my bed, recovering from another dumping episode, I thought I'd use the time to google "low glycemic diet " as Larry suggested it might help. It seems incredibly complicated, not just what to eat but combinations of foods, to eat or avoid. I can just about understand the theory, but in

This is the question posed yesterday in The Guardian. We've popped the link on our facebook page as well. Did you read it? What's your view? http://bit.ly/Vye5il

I'M SO TIRED!!!!!
hello everyone! I joined this forum because I am tired of being so tired! I am celiac and have been on a very strict gluten free diet for the past 5 years now. I recently had a gluten sensitivity test that came back negative, so I know I am not having any hidden gluten. I have had every blood test related

Mystery gut problems
Does any know what was wrong with Darren Fletcher, the Manchester United footballer, who a year ago looked like death warmed up and is now back playing in the first team. He was described in my paper as having a "debilitating bowel problem". Likewise Novak Djokovic, the world number one tennis player
