We did 36 days of full pelvic radiation, two years of
lupron
and one year zytiga. He has been off
lupron
since December 2021, and off zytiga since august 2021 (he could only tolerate a year). PSA and T were both down to undetectable the entire time.

Between a rock and another rock...
Already fighting MDS cancer, Afib, pre-diabetes, diverticulosis, osteoporosis, arthritis (ankles) and CHF... now will do battle with after effects from RT and
lupron
. Not sure it's worth going on. Maybe I should dig a hole, climb in and call it a day. 🤕

Brain metastasis treatment options?
We got a second opinion but another specialist (NHS) said the same and my dad agreed to their treatment which was xtandi and
lupron
. Xtandi and
lupron
worked for around a year before my dad’s PSA started gradually increasing again.

Docetaxel Chemo: What Helped Me…
Your skin is going to get more dried out from the chemo as well as from the lack of testosterone from the
Lupron
shots (skin oil production goes down). Use good moisturizer twice a day and SPF 50 sunscreen on your face.

recurring lymph node prostate cancer
Ive taken a 6 month
Lupron
injection (PSA down from 2.0 to .11) , recommended for Zytiga, then radiation as soon as possible. My liver numbers are up due to the
Lupron
injection and not sure I can make it through the Zytiga. Might end up on something else.

Testosterone - How low can it go?
Plan was to follow PEACE-1:
Lupron
, abiraterone & 6 rounds of docetaxel. Had to stop abiraterone first for irreg. heartbeat & then right before starting chemo as bilirubin went way up. Since chemo is hard on the liver, abiraterone is on hold til done chemo.

Dumb Question on Casodex
While
Lupron
decreases testosterone produced by the testicles. Why shouldn't Casodex be better than
Lupron
?

Erleada and Dizziness
I have been on Erleada,
Lupron
and Xgeva for over 4 years. I took a 3 month hiatus and saw my PSA go from 1.2 to 6.9. I had my first PSMA PET scan. It showed mets to a number of areas on my skeleton. I started back up on my meds. About 2 weeks ago I started getting really dizzy.

Zoladex (GnRH agonist) + simultaneous HRT - help!
My symptoms match exactly those of everyone else who has been permanently disabled by this drug and others like it, such as
Lupron
. I have been looking back over my medical records today. I did not receive any "add-back" therapy or HRT until AFTER surgery.

New metastasis found
FWIW,
Lupron
vacation since March. PSA undetectable today, but the scan: 1. New choline avid marrow occupying lesion in the mid right humerus likely represents metastaticdisease.

Maybe One of You Can Benefit From This: Radiation Again After 10 Years of ADT.
And, this was accompanied by a 1-2 week delay beyond the 3 month schedule for receiving my
Lupron
shot on time, because I contracted Covid.

Dad has brain cancer, heart issues, and now PSA has increased. Concerned about medication complications..
He had 6 rounds of chemo and began on
Lupron
+ Casodex. That worked for five years until his PSA started increasing again and he was able to receive a two of three rounds of Provenge immunotherapy (the last round was cancelled due to Covid just starting in March 2020).

Dipyridamole To Reduce Platelet Formation, inhibit Fibrin Coating
I am stage 4 HSPCa, to the bone and lymph and on
Lupron
, Nubeqa at present after (6) Docetaxel, and
Lupron
. I am one of those that believes the use of many bullets is necessary to wound and slow the beast. Thought this might be low risk possibility. Has anyone had any experience with this drug?

I had been on
lupron
but now use orgovyx to control my PC. My question is are there negative side effects that I should be concerned about? Also my PC has not been detected on scans. Thanks
