I Did It !!!

TUBULAR BREAST CANCER POST OP TREATMENT ADVICE PLEASE
If any one has had a
lumpectomy
for a small tubular BC and were pronounced clear around the site and the nodes, did you agree to either/or radiotherapy and hormone therapy or to neither? I am 67.

CLL and Pseudohyperkalimia?
I need to get cleared for my other cancer surgery :( Having a
lumpectomy
on Thursday if I am cleared. I have been reading that CLL patients can have artificially elevated potassium. Anyone know about this? Thank you!

Metastatic Breast Cancer Survivor
I had a
lumpectomy
and then 3 weeks later had a right mastectomy with no lymph node involvement in 1994. At that time I did have reconstruction, which was painful. At that time I thought I will be good if it doesn't go into my left breast. It never has although there were a few scares.

New here. Would like info on bone mets....
Had a
lumpectomy
and radiation. One sentinel node had Metastisis but it was felt that I didn't need chemo. 2014 pain in ribs led to finding of bone mets to spine, pelvis, and ribs. We believe that it had already metastisized much earlier, perhaps in 2008.

New to forum, 38 from Worcester, getting to end of treatment, feeling positive.
Finished chemo last month, had surgery (
lumpectomy
only) couple weeks ago and due to start radiotherapy next month. I feel like I'm coming to the end of my journey and worried I've not connected with any other people locally in similar circumstances to keep in contact with.

AI's vs Tamoxifen?
I had a
lumpectomy
2 weeks ago and the pathology came back with a 5mm area of invasive DC, Her2 negative. I'm scheduled for another surgery to remove more tissue, as the margin was not wide enough, along with a sentinel node biopsy.

Stage 2 breast cancer - some doubts in my mind
My mother ages 67 years was recently diagnosed with stage 2A breast cancer in the left breast after a
lumpectomy
.. there was also metastasis to 3 out of 6 lymph nodes studied. She has undergone a radical modified mastectomyincluidng removal of all the lymph nodes in the area.

Recovering
Had my
lumpectomy
and two sentinel nodes removed. The relief was overwhelming when my consultant told me that they had removed the tumour and had a clear sample, also no sign in my lymph nodes - it was the first time I have cried at any of my appointments.

Diagnosed now waiting for Treatment
I have my
lumpectomy
in just over a week, difficult to describe my feelings at the moment. Dreading the operation as I have bad reactions to anesthetic - this is one journey that I hadn't planned for this year!

Tumour in lymph
Had
lumpectomy
and radiotherapy. Found lump in Jan 2015. Breast surgeon saw me several times then did biopsy in July 2015. Was told it was a tumour which is benign and they would 'keep an eye'on it. I asked if being tumours ever become malignant and was told rarely. Big relief.

Should I push for mastectomy?
I had a
lumpectomy
in July this year. They discovered it was lobular and a 2nd op was needed to obtain clear margins. That was 3 weeks ago and they told me last Friday that no invasive cancer was found following the 2nd op, just 'in situ' pre cancerous cells as I understand it.

Enjoying Life
Had a
Lumpectomy
and Radiation Treatment. In fact this was the day of my last treatment exactly 5 years ago. The reason I remember is because its my son's Birthday, he is 23 today. I am a former Mammography Tech and I found it very beneficial to understand my Pathology Reports.

Returning to work
I had a
lumpectomy
in May followed by radiotherapy which ended on 16th August. I am starting to think about work, but still don't feel well enough as I get terribly tired still, and need days in bed when I feel awful (which are becoming less). Is this normal?
