Low T3
He wrote to an Endo at Manchester and he sent a letter back stating that the cost of
Liothyronine
to NHS is in his words astronomical so he also cannot get funding to prescribe and has had it refused. All my other Vitamins and minerals are now optimal as I have spent 12 months getting these right.

HELP T3 guidance before doctor appt tomorrow.
I take the
liothyronine
at 6:00am. I am going to ask for the doctor to increase the T3 and am looking for some guidance as to what I should increase it to? I have not had labs yet and am going to wait until we increase it to do labs. Should my levo dose be lowered?

Morningside Liothyronine sodium!
Hi my Dr won't prescribe Mercury lio any more. Morning side didn't work for me and I became ill with them for 6 months. I really need to adjust the dose from mercury to Morning side. I guess Morning side is a lot less effective as it didn't work on me and i became ill. Any ideas on how much to take

My Daughter is really struggling
She had been on thyroxine 125 - 150 mcg, then last year added 20mcg
liothyronine
. The t3 did help her control the Tsh levels but did not improve quality of life. The thyroid has not been able to be stabilised for more than 3 months at a time.

TSH undetectable
I'm taking 100 micrograms thyroxine and 37.5mg
liothyronine
spaced out through the day. I had a sub-total thyroidectomy many years ago. I'm feeling better for the first time in years but doctor has just told me my TSH is undectable. Do I need to worry or do anything about this?

Follow up to last question
He recommended addition of
Liothyronine
, but the private pharmacy had trouble procuring them. However I received them on Saturday, and a little bit expensive. I have another appointment in 6 wks to check progress. I do hope these work for me and make me feel at least half human again.

Problems with Carers refusing to administer Thyroid Complex and Vitamin K2 despite letter from NHS Endocrinologist to doctor.
I have advised her to continue the same dose of thyroxine and
liothyronine
'. Firstly they agreed and suddenly they have refused. Is there anything I can do? I seem to be fighting against bureaucratic mumbo jumbo. What am I doing wrong?

T3 replaced by Liothyronine sodium
Hi, I have been Levothyroxine and
Liothyronine
for over 20 years. In April this year my doctor withdrew the
Liothyronine
- without notification or consultation.

Joint Group Meeting at House of Commons with Lord Hunt
It was agreed that we would all work on a document with evidence for Lord O'Shaughnessy regarding CCGs not adhering to NHS England guidance on
liothyronine
. It was very good to meet up with people we have been working with and to meet them all.

Pathophysiological relevance of deiodinase polymorphism
This could explain why certain groups of levothyroxine-treated hypothyroid patients have improved quality of life when also treated with
liothyronine
(LT3). Furthermore, Ala92-D2 was abnormally found in the Golgi apparatus, what could constitute a disease mechanism independent of T3 signaling.

Fired my endo
TSH. .48 (.45-4.5) Free T4 1.53 (.82-1.77) Free T3 2.7 (2.0-4.4) I was told by the nurse “He does not prescribe T3” 😮 I went to my PCP and she gave me 5mcg
liothyronine
. I had been taking my synthroid at night but switched to morning at 6am with half of the T3.

In the presence of a normal thyroid stimulating hormone level (TSH), and normal free T3 level it would not surprise me to learn you are taking
liothyronine
(T3) instead of levothyroxine - is this the case?

T3 Prescription Question
I have a private prescription for T3 which simply states "
Liothyronine
25mcg daily x six months". However, the Thybon Henning is for 20mcg - will this cause me a problem with them fulfilling the prescription? I don't want to post the prescription to them if they won't administer it.

T3 Advice
I dropped Levo from 100 down to 75mg ( cutting tablets with a pill cutter) and am taking 10mg
Liothyronine
( also using a pill cutter) I think I am feeling a little better although still not great and have days when I am exhausted - which can last a week sometimes.
