Just a small rant and slightly off-topic question.
I just refilled my T3-
liothyronine
- and it took quite a bit of looking around to find a pharmacy who had it in stock. Quite a few seem to have it back-ordered and delivery dates are unsure. Scary!

Manic or thryroid??
I have dropped my medication in half in the hope that is why I can't sleep and maybe I was on too much
liothyronine
40mgc. I have been taking sleeping pills to try and help with the situation. My Dr insists it's depression and I think thinks I am going through a manic episode.

Feeling a bit scared
I recently received my prescription from Germany of Thybon and didn’t expect to feel any different on this than I had on the
Liothyronine
which I had had from my GP as a trial which was pretty wonderful , like a new person in fact.

Dutch Liothyronine queries
Hello All, I’m off to Amsterdam tomorrow and maybe Rotterdam. Any questions about Dutch T3 that I can ask for you? I will be in town for two hours waiting on a friend who’s flight lands two hours after mine so I have nine chemists on my ‘alone time’ map that I’m going to visit. Any thoughts on what

Neurological issues/underactive thyroid link?
I asked at the time about contraindications with levothyroxine and
liothyronine
and was told there were none.

London NHS Endocrinologist - Liothyronine
My GP has finally agreed to refer me to an endocrinologist but I see from others stories here that it can be quite a struggle to find a doctor who is open to prescribing
liothyronine
.

Liothyronine in olive oil from Germany????
Hi i have these capsules and im on t3 only. On yr websight it says these are sustained release t3. I emailed the company who said they were not sustained release they were normal. It is vital on t3 only to only take fast immediate release t3 due to receptor damage slow or sustained release wont latch

Private t3 Rx brand change and tiromel help please
Does anyone know which brand I would be given in the UK, 20mcg
liothyronine
? I'm not sure if i should start with the private prescription as it will be a more reliable source or do my best to get more tiromel whilst I'm still improving losing weight etc. Thanks x

The reduced

was the tipping point I think. It's gonna be a long road to health. Grrrr

Guidelines for prescribing T3
This Guideline from the American Thyroid Association makes me grit my teeth: "While short-term studies suggest that synthetic
liothyronine
may have beneficial effects on weight, lipid levels, and depression in hypothyroid patients, long-term controlled clinical trials using a longer acting form of triiodothyronine

T3 instead of T4
Been to the GP to legalise this, who is happy with it, but when I queried the instructions that come with the SigmaPharm T3 which states "When switching a patient to
Liothyronine
Sodium from...L-Thyroxine..., discontinue the other medication...etc."
