Vaccinations and Etanercept
I have read that they recommend the Typhoid and Hep A vaccinations but unsure whether I can have these as I take
Leflunomide
and Etanercetpt. I have tried to contact HaH but haven't received a reply yet. Just wondering if anyone has any experience of this please?

Having problems with my meds.
I started with
leflunomide
about 2 weeks ago with prednisone and my bowels and heart burn are making me question why I am taking them. A storm came through yesterday and my whole body hurt. Can't figure out what to do.

What RA?
I’m finally off of it (for two months now) and I’m living pain free with methotrexate and
leflunomide
. I’ve also been on a low carb, no sugar diet for 2 months and I’ve lost 32 pounds. Inflammatory blood markers are normal now. I can snap my fingers again. I can bend my wrists.

Sulfasalazine
My problem is that they keep trying me with addiditonal meds, Methotrexate,
Leflunomide
, Azathioprine and now Sulfasalazine. Each has given me awful side effects, headache, upset stomach and Nausea.

Will any medication ever help ?
I have been on Methotrexate, Enbrel, Cimzia,
Leflunomide
and Actemra. Nothing has helped. Last 2 days I can hardly walk because of the pain in my hip. RA is a nasty thing. All i want to do is cry from this pain. Not sure if we will ever find the right combination to make me feel better.

Methotrexate not working
Then in Sept
leflunomide
which 2 weeks in sent my liver enzymes rocketing. I was then taken off all meds to let my liver recover. In the meantime while off the meds I had an op to remove a Morton’s neuroma from my foot. This had been diagnosed 6 years ago and had grown really large.

learning new ways to limit this disease....
Everyone is different and everyone will react differently. age is a determining factor as well as how long prior to diagnosis your bodies system had been fighting this disease. i am on several prescrips. i take the sulfasalazine ,
leflunomide
and a low dosage of prednisone.

Another day - another diagnosis
Put on methotrexate, hydroxycholquinine, sulfazalazine,
leflunomide
and allergic to all of them. Didn’t qualify for biologics and suddenly hey presto nothing wrong could be seen. The pain remained and was excruciating but the new diagnosis - nothing wrong despite what had been seen earlier.

Recently diagnosed with ANCA Associated Vascultis called Microscopic Polyangiitis, and seeking understanding
I was on Arava (
Leflunomide
) before and it was fine for 9 years - for Rheumatoid Arthritis - but all the medical treatment folks like Methotrexate better for this ANCA Associated Vasculitis.

leflunomide and Warfarin
My Dr. has put me on
Leflunomide
20 mgs a day. Bottom line is I am scared to death that this medication is going to reack havoc on my other problems. Does anyone have the same problems and if so, how have you coped with it all. I am in so much pain, I will do anything to feel better again.
