Stockpiling
Also got two months worth of AA and
Leflunomide
and one month of Apixapan. GPtold me last week that they were issuing double prescriptions to help local pharmacy cope when the expected peak in our area arises. Saves me having to reorder for a while but does seem a bit excessive.

Injecting mtx 😬
The reason he increased the mtx was because I’m getting the skin side effects and worsened post nasal drip etc. since I started
leflunomide
, so he doesn’t want to increase that, even though it was only when the lef was added in that I saw any improvement at all and managed to get off steroids: I would

Leflunomide and blood pressure
The Rheumatoligist feels that the blood pressure spike is not necessarily anything to do with the
Leflunomide
as I hadn't been taking it for long enough - but I can't help feeling it must be.

Biologic Hyrimoz (adalimumab) worked for 2 months, then stopped working.
My doctor had told me to restart
leflunomide
as well and see if this helps. I am also on prednisolone and hyroxycholoroquine.

Interesting info if you haven’t seen it
From the NRAS coronavirus update “From the evidence so far, there is no increased risk of catching coronavirus for those taking conventional DMARDs such as methotrexate,
leflunomide
, sulfasalazine or hydroxychloroquine.

Bronchiectasis and azathioprine info please
After being on a combination of methotrexate and
leflunomide
plus the usual hydroxychloroquine I suffered 3 bouts of pneumonia in 7 months causing bronchiectasis. Anyone else developed this? Medication was stepped down to just hydroxychloroquine and mepacrine.

To fly or not to fly!!
I’m doing much better myself but still on 6mg pred,
leflunomide
, hydroxychloroquine and valacyclovir. Worst nightmare is one of us becomes ill and then we get stuck somewhere or worse. If it wasn’t a family wedding I wouldn’t go.

Just been diagnosed with GCA
After having 3 days of steroids plus a drug called
Leflunomide
I am feeling fuzzy headed and trembly I hope that this will clear. Am also anxious about this coronavirus due to the added risk of compromised immunity.

Worried about going to appointments.
Obviously I have RD and I am on Mtx,
Leflunomide
, Hydroxy and Prednisolone which will lower my immune system, but I also have asthma, high blood pressure (among many other conditions) and am nearly 70. What bothers me is what to do about going for doctor's and hospital appointments.

Steroid Injection in Knee - Mobility
My consultant was off for a year so I was seeing different doctors, they did give me a course of steroids and a couple of steroid injection put me on
leflunomide
. None of these worked, I already have been on all DMARDs with no success.
