IBS OR NOT?
Dr suggested
Laxido
so started with 2 a day. I’ve been having daily bowel movements since end of Jan in the morning after sitting up in bed with legs bent which seems to get things moving.

Yet another update
Mixed opinions re impaction, but agreement at least around some level of constipation so on low ish level of Movicol/
Laxido
. Numerous tests, still in pain but now also with an absolute fear of eating.

Is the Laxido removing the impaction?
It is my first time taking
Laxido
as I had an impaction and now have suspected IBS-C that I had no idea about haha. I’m on my final day of 8 sachets and then have been told to stop using
Laxido
. It has been pretty grim for the past two days, type 6/7 very frequently.

Constant battle to get son to drink/poo/take medicine/sit on toilet. Anyone else struggling?
He’s been on Movicol/
Laxido
since Feb and now on Senna since April. What I’m struggling with is the constant battle with my son to get him to drink/sit on toilet/drink sachet/poo.

Thick mucus! Anyone else have this? **graphic pics**
If I don’t take my 5
laxido
, 3 docusate sodium and a micro enima every day then the extreme spasms and pain are so bad I almost pass out. If I eat anything heavy I’m back in the toilet vomiting it back up within minutes.

Constant soiling 4 year old
We were given
laxido
which worked but then we would start again on a vicious cycle. We were referred to paediatrics who told us it's psychological and have referred us to CAMHS and we are on a long waiting list.

Laxido for fecal impaction. What to expect?
Hi, I was in hospital yesterday and told I have a fecal impaction and given
laxido
, told to take 8 sachets in six hours. I am on my glass now and already starting to feel the effects. I had imagined that it would just soften the blockage enough for me to pass as a type 4 stool?

4 year old on Laxido - witholding poo’s
Our 4 year old son has been on
Laxido
for 8 months and wasn’t too bad taking it before but recently he has started to refuse to take it. We mix the sachet with enough water to disolve it and then add to his milk but this isn’t working anymore as he keeps saying it tastes funny.

severe abdominal pains and chronic constipation
I was sent home with a diagnosis of SEVERE CONSTIPATION, and to take
LAXIDO
and Morphine for the pain, which I refuse to take. They did do a rectum examination and said all was ok. They told me to ring my GP if I'm still suffering and will need a colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy.

Laxido?
Any idea if this could be the
laxido
or if there's something else? I hope it's just the
laxido
but not sure bc I know some people take this medication long term so surely it shouldn't cause pain like this

Slightly Raised Calprotectin and FIT Test. What Now?
My doctor gave me
Laxido
to try, even though I don't think I'm constipated (I've always gone 3 - 4 times a week and this has always been normal to me) he said to try and soften the stool to see if it provided any relief. I took two sachets for three days, now I've got diarrhea!

New here - 8 year old soiling
I spoke to a really unhelpful GP after visiting the Eric website - the GP basically said he didn’t want to hear about what I might have read on the internet 😳 and prescribed
Laxido
2 sachets a day. He gave zero information about it.

After laxido.
My 4 Yr old recently went through the
laxido
process for disimpaction. The blockage came out. The poo was at the brown watery stage for about 3 days.. He is having a sachet of
laxido
every 3 days. His poo is still very runny and he's soiling his pull ups regularly.
