Will I be ok
Since I've been taking
laxatives
and magnesium every day for the last month waiting for a new referral. Without it I can't go the bathroom. And with it it feels blocked I have to reposition my rectum inside to get anything. Ive had cancer in my family and my blood came back low rbc and wbc.

Toilet training toddler with under active bowel
My daughter has been on
laxatives
since she was 6 months old, she is now 3 and we are struggling with toilet training. She is fine with doing a wee in her potty but seems to not know when her poo is coming quick enough to get there.

Parental emotional impact of stool withholding. I'm so drained. Reaching out.
My daughter is nearly three has been on long term
laxatives
since the end of October for chronic stool withholding that began when we started toilet training her 8 months ago. I feel I'm getting all the right medical advice as we've seen a specialist continence paediatrician.

4 Days Post Op
I am struggling emotionally at the moment as I am in a lot of pain and trying to recover I came out of hospital today, I haven’t opened my bowels still but I am taking
laxatives
. I would say I am struggling more mentally as they have sent my cyst off to be tested.

Egg collection approaching & I’ve a high right ovary, any suggestions how to shake it into a better position?!
My egg retrieval all being well should be this Wednesday, Tuesday I’ll be enjoying
laxatives
(prescription from the clinic) to clear out my bowels in the hope this will help them access my right ovary better.

Infection aftermath
UTI which antibiotics cleared up but left her with thrush, in mouth & down below, then there was a chest infection so more antibiotics, following that we had upset tummy which caused some confusion - could it be C.diff over growth after two lots of antibiotics or a bug or sensitivity to one of the

Post surgery bowel problems.
I cant go unless I take
laxatives
. Has anyone else suffered this post surgery. Just wondering if it's due to my body still healing.

Doctors tell me it's ibs but I think it's way more serious
Then it led to four months of me having to use
laxatives
and magnesium citrate to relieve impaction. Ended up in a random emergency room when traveling. X-ray shower very impacted and colitis.

Hysterectomy or not?
My consultant offered a couple of different options. 1, do nothing surgical, follow a healthy lifestyle and manage symptoms with
laxatives
. 2. Take prostap for 6 months followed by a hysterectomy. I opted for option 2.

Still learning to adapt to the changes MS brings.
No
laxatives
will work and If not picked up on quickly I'll be back in the ER facing abdominal surgery, or even worse, Manual disempaction I'll spare you the gory details, but for those who don't know, manual disimpaction involves a lot of olive oil, nudity, and exploration.

IBS basics for beginners
Firstly, they are
laxatives
and will give you diarrhoea (sodium phosphate was once used to prepare patients for colonoscopies!). Secondly, they are associated with cardiovascular disease and accelerated aging.

Stool withholding, laxido and accidents. How do I get the dose right?
After months of trying behavioural interventions my daughter started long term
laxatives
last Sunday after an awful weekend of constipation and stool withholding. The GP said I could titrate the dose according to how she was doing. She was very backed up so I was giving her one sachet a day.

Questions about OIC
I've been on several stool softeners a couple of different
laxatives
and nothing seems to help with any regularity. I've tried Metamucil, Miralax, Colace and generic type stool softeners. Does anyone have anything that works for them?
