Awaiting Laparoscopy - Manchester
He confirmed my MRI scan was showing signs however would need
laparoscopy
to confirm stages etc. He did mention they have found signs of lesions on my bowl and bladder which explains some of my situations!

Laparoscopy
Has anyone ever been offered a
laparoscopy
as part of their investigation into PCOS? I would like to have one done to find out more of what’s going on and too possibly think about a hysterectomy. Would do I have to do to be able to get one done? Thank you☺️x

had cousin’s kids for a week. Terminally tired
I’m so wiped out and exhausted I could cry. I have a cousin who’s a total loser and I ended up taking care of his kids and basically being their guardian. They live in a children’s home most of the time but as a caregiver my husband and I have them on long school weekends and holidays. We don’t have

Reason to be cheerful
Obvs a lot of people are really worried about heart diseases in this forum. TBH I sometimes share those concerns ... but in general I try to post positive reassuring posts about CHD and CAD. I'm 63 (64 in a few days) and have been really busy with a nerdy consultancy project. Quite by chance the project

Biopsy During Lap?
I also noticed that all my paperwork before the surgery said ‘diagnostic
laparoscopy
’, but after the surgery said ‘
laparoscopy
with ovarian cyst removal + biopsies’. Am I right in thinking they have found something? Or could they have taken biopsies even if they didn’t find any endo?

just a question from a busy brain
I had a
laparoscopy
in 2013 ,everything was very healthy, no concerns regarding fertility. I later had fertility treatment, unfortunately I lost baby early on.

belly button re infected 6 weeks after op
hello, I’ve been quite unwell with a nasty virus, temperature, coughing and body aches. I had a week long course of antibiotics which cleared up the laparoscopic wound infection to my belly button. Unfortunately, I’ve had some pain in it the last few days and when I woke up this morning to check it

I said I still have a dull period pain now in my stomach and back and he said well yes when you have a period after a
laparoscopy
this happens, to which I reminded him that I don’t have periods due to the pain and go straight through with my cerelle.

period irregularities 3 months post op
I had my
laparoscopy
and they removed endo around my pelvis (uterus tubes and ovaries clear where clear of endo). My last two periods since op have been on time but this one is about four days late now. GP doesn’t seem interested and pregnancy test this morning was negative.

I had my first
laparoscopy
(and excision of endo) three weeks ago this coming Monday. I came on my period four days after surgery. It's now day 17 and I'm going crazy.

A steady little 5k in the cold
Back down to 2 degrees up here, but I needed to shake off yesterday’s food. Remembering the words of CB, I took it really slowly over the first 1k, during which I encountered a couple out for a walk. He told me that he was a runner and I should be running faster ! She was clearly embarrassed…what do

Endo surgery - Laser vs cutting treatment
Hi guys, I have my
laparoscopy
next week. The surgeon hasn't provided any details on how he will treat the endometrioses or adhesions if he finds them and I have recently read how much it can vary.

MRI wait times
I was diagnosed with endo after an emergency laparotomy 10 years ago and have had a
laparoscopy
to remove cysts 8 years ago too. I’m very aware I’ll probably need another surgery but all this waiting is so depressing, my belly is so bloated.

Periods stopped with mirena coil
I had my coil fitted after a
laparoscopy
last year where endometriosis tissue was removed. I had the coil for a year and 4 months with periods every month and then suddenly, they stopped. I now haven't had a period for 3 months.
