root canal work while on zoledronic acid infusions
I have 6 monthly dental checkups, and for years all has been well. I had my first zoledronic acid infusion 28th December 2023. My last dental checkup was in March. A week ago I started getting intermittent pains in the right side of my jaw, both bottom and top. GP ruled out PMR and recommended I visit

can someone explain please
During a conversation with my husband concerning my PMR, l told him that l was in pain that day. He asked why l didn’t request some stronger/more effective pain meds from the GP. So l made the statement that PMR does not respond particularly to painkillers. My hubby seemed to think that what l had

Nerve pain in foot
Does anyone else get what is more than likely nerve pain in the feet? It comes and goes like a shooting pain but has been a lot more frequent recently and it's not nice. At the moment it's like above my little toe. But it moves around both feet - and usually it was in the middle towards the upper part

Leg cramps
I drink a lot of Matcha tea with honey, also squash. One coffee breakfast but I still get cramp. My feet feel as they try to curl under, legs then feel heavy and cramp up to my hips. Last night both went very quickly and getting out of bed was very painful. Standing and trying to walk was laughable.

The hidden dangers ... the many routes to the IC ... beware of the cheese ... 🧀
It's the early hours of day 11 of my trip to Switzerland with my father. Ironically I can't sleep, so got up for a hot drink and a banana (after reading IP's chat post this week). I know screen time is not the answer, but I suspect I'm done for the night anyway. It's been an eventful week leading to

Rebound migrane
Hi I've just returned from a holiday, where I had to take a lot of painkillers just to survive the 2 weeks, without spoiling it for everyone. I'm now trying to reduce the triptans and cocodamol, but it's very hard going without painkillers. Does anyone know how long it takes to get them out of your system

Advice needed
Hi, my wife has endometriosis and I am wondering just how exactly I can convince a Dr about the level of pain she is in? Her journey started with very heavy and long periods on average between 10-20 days of very heavy bleeding, then she would have 3-5 days without and then again 10-20 days bleeding
