So sad
Today I lost my first friend at dialysis. He was a charming gentleman who always made me laugh. We engaged in friendly conversations before and after dialysis. He came in slumped in his wheelchair not wanting to talk. I found out later that he died on his way home from dialysis. This makes me sad

Post Liver Transplant
I am worried about how my hands, body and voice always shaky and is been 5 weeks after my operation. I get dizzy when I am standing at one place for long. I would like to know from someone who has been in my position if I honestly will go back to being the same. Like going gym, lifting weight, playing

Jim is back in hospital
Jim was taken to hospital a week today with blood clots and peeing blood again luckily he was quickly transferred to castle hill in hull a specialist hospital. He is very poorly and he has stopped eating since he had radiotherapy. The consultant said he wants to operate and take out the dead kidney.

BK Virus
One of the side effects of the BK virus is the loss of the transplanted
kidney
, although my nephrologist tells me its not time to panic.
Transplant
patients are at a high risk of activating the BK virus. Most people have this virus but it is dormant.

Psych evaluation
Hi! This is for those of you who are either on the liver transplant list or who have had a transplant. What I'd like to know is whether you were given a psychological evaluation or a one-to-one conversion with a trained therapist as to how to deal with serious organ rejection should it occur.

Alternative/Natural therapies for RLS
For those who want to manage their RLS without medication, there are recent science articles on Paeoniae Alba, a plant used in traditional Chinese medicine. It seems interesting. I'm too far down the medication route but for those newly diagnosed or with milder RLS or those who do not want to take Alpha2Delta

Protein in urine
Hello, I’m currently 38+6 weeks pregnant and for the past 3 weeks I have tested positive for protein and blood in my urine. My blood pressure is normal, I have no urine infection and my blood tests came back as normal. I really don’t understand what could be causing this. I have read about pre eclampsia
