Tramadol 50mg for pain management
Today I had my third infusion of
Jevtana
and towards the evening I had back and abdominal pain in the right lower quadrant. Prior to this, for some visceral discomfort/pain I used successfully Ibuprofen 600mg twice a day. I could sleep, walk, cook, bake.

If Pluvicto fails…what next?
Dxed March ‘18, and has gone through the gamut of standard of care (Docetaxal,
Jevtana
, Ra223, Lynparza, ADT) and now Pluvicto. He had one round about 4 weeks ago. Bloodwork a few days after round 1 showed an increase in PSA, but significant decrease in Alk Phos.

Jevtana (Cabazitaxel) before Xofigo (Radium 223)
Hi I was speaking to an Oncology nurse last week who suggested that after Docetaxel, Oncolgists were inclined to prescribe
Jevtana
before Xofigo. This apparently is because it is less effective the other way round. I have to say my instinct was to try radiotherapy before going back to chemo.

Why is Jevtana used as one of the last options for the cancer?
The last two left are
Jevtana
and LU-177. He just did 5 rounds of Radium and was told he now has to wait 6 months before he can try LU-177. That leaves
Jevtana
. He had a bad reaction to Taxotern (sp) and almost died. He got multiple holes in his colon that went septic.

After the 6th infusion of jevtana and carboplatin my husbands psa continues to rise.
after 6 infusions his psa continues to rise. In October he started out at 57 . Today it’s 67. Last scans in December showed mostly stable except for a few new hot spots on the spine. He remains fairly active. He has also had 6 pluvicto treatments last year. Just asking if it’s time to end this treatment

Mr. Spouse 21 is on rewind: Stable again!
He even kept his port in from 2018 until last year since he was sure he'd be getting
Jevtana
, Pluvicto, and some of those other treatments. He got his fourth pacemaker in January this year (planned not emergency), so the port had to come out.

Docetaxel/Taxotere. 2nd time in 3 years. It's a no go this time. No benefit after 3 infusions.
(
Jevtana
, Xofigo w/provenge, even Xtandi ? As hopefully the Docetaxel I've just had or if I get
Jevtana
the chemo's will "resensitize so that Xtandi is viable" after the Zytiga I've ran thru). Meantime a nice Christmas break from the chemo crashes, some recovery before hitting "IT" again.

Bone Marrow and blood cells
His other alternative was
Jevtana
. Could that help? He is not in pain right now. I am worried the
Jevtana
will cause bone weakness and bone pain.

BITE Clinical Study
If so, would you agree that it is a better option than
Jevtana
? He can’t do both. I tried looking for info online and am not finding much. Apparently this is a phase 1 study.

Jevtana and Pluvicto
Onco suggests
Jevtana
and then Pluvicto if needed. I don’t qualify for any research studies using Pluvicto for a variety of reasons.

An update from yesterday. How do you deal with a virus on top of a weak immune system?
His immune system is not in good shape, in fact I believe his white cell counts are too low to do the
Jevtana
right now. So our focus is to work for him to kick the virus and pull some blood numbers up and then give the
Jevtana
a shot. Please send good thoughts.

jevtana Cough
Dad just had his 3rd round of
jevtana
and has developed a cough ( sounds wet) with some increasing irritation in his throat. No fever etc. I know cough can be a side effect but just wondering if others have managed this or is this something more sinister going on?

Jevtana stopped working. Considering Nubeqa
Started
Jevtana
in March. Worked for 5 treatments. PSA down to .89. Next tx psa rose to 1.22. Next tx rose to 1.32. Oncologist ordered a bone scan and we discussed Nubeqa. scan indicated multiple mets in spin and ribs and old mets active. I'll see oncologist soon and sure he'll order PMSA scan.

Advanced PC with a 90 years old
Other options like Pluvicto or Xofigo or
Jevtana
seems to be too much for him to handle. Thank you in advance for your inputs.
