Don't want to go back on the pill/more surgeries! Deep infiltrating endo on bowel and uterine polyp removed recently for heavy bleeding.
Every single GP, gynaecologist i have met have pushed for the bcp/
IUD
and surgeries, which i am doing my hardest to push back as they are not effective methods and i have already gone down that path for so long without success.

copper coil, irregular period
This doesn’t worry me however my second cycle seems a lot longer, my Flo app is saying I’m 6 days late, was just wondering if anyone else has experienced irregular periods following an
iud
insertion?

why isn’t testing for all STD’s important before IUD insertion
maybe I'm just ranting but this has been eating at me since I found out , I guess the main question is, can they actually do the
iud
insertion without testing for ALL STDs, if so why?

Weight gain with Femara/Letrozole
My chin has also decided to break out in spots - not something I have dealt with since using an
IUD
. When I google, there are side effects related to weight gain for those using Femara for cancer treatment but no mention of those using it for fertility. Anyone else?

Copper IUD and Endometriosis link
Hi, I’m curious to find out if having the copper coil (non hormonal one - not Mirena) may have triggered my endometriosis. Especially where mine was (uteral ligaments - behind the womb). Just wondered if anyone else has had a Copper coil and since suffered with Endo?

Mirena IUD
What’s everyone’s experience with the mirena coil? I have had mine for 4 months now and had it inserted whilst I was under for my lap. I have a new symptom of stinging pains and my cramps are unbearable?! Is it worth me sticking it out? My surgeon always says it is best to stick it as it hurts having

MRI result: no appointment set to discuss my results over two months later. Looking for private consultant recommendations in Surrey area
I am also currently unemployed I still have an
IUD
that they refuse to remove with adequate pain relief, the MRI showed potential endo in my vagina which explains my PTSD from having an
IUD
inserted while awake. I have been trying to get it removed for two years.

MRI Result: Ovary Stuck to Womb yet gynaecologist says "no active endo"?
I also have an
iud
which has ruined my life for the past 2 years. They thought it was in the wrong position due to my pain. I was in less pain before the
iud
and I was a completely different woman despite it all. I've had two transvaginal ultrasounds which came back clear prior to the MRI.

Hashimotos and which contraception?
Mirena coil seems to be similar to mini pill and both scare me in terms of adding to my acne and mood swing issues Copper
iud
apparently can flare up hashimotos / Can really deplete zinc stores and cause heavy periods - i am an anemic But, I am starting to believe this is the best option?

1 day period - normal?
From 18, I had coils for 15 years: copper-
IUD
-
IUD
-copper and my period returned with the last copper in the first month. My period is very regular: 26-28 days but the bleed is only 1 day with very light spotting either side.
