I have started taking metformin because I have pcos. Has any one else had this before? Is it normal? And this week I've started

Hi Ladies. Sorry for writing such post at 4 am my morning. Basically I’m heading for my fet next Friday with my one last embryo. I have no hope on this cycle? Is that ok to feel this way. I started this fertility treatments in 2018 and first miscarriage in April 2019 and second in April 2020, great timing

Hyterscopy and miruena coil
Hello - like to know your experience of having a hyesterscopy - been told a few paracetamol all that is needed and also fit a miruena coil. Apparently I have Adenomyosis (as well as stage iv endo which I knew about) but wants to exclude womb cancer. Is this true it doesn’t hurt? Also any experiences

Mirena Coil Removal
Hi, I’ve had the mirena coil for a few years now but would like it to be removed. I went to my GP a few months ago to ask for it to be removed and they said that I have to go back and see a gynaecologist for it to be removed as they won’t be able to do it due to the fact I had the coil inserted whilst

Is pineapple a good idea to eat when having egg transfer.Ive read it causes the uterus to contract
My wife ate pineapple for a week after iui and we got a bfp but ended in miscarriage at 7 weeks..I’ve read that you haven’t to have intercours after egg transfer as it causes the uterus to contract and may cause implantation to fail so I’m thinking if pinapple dose that too then is it not a good idea

Cerazette and cysts
Hello, i was wondering if cerazette is any good for helping manage with cysts and the pain that comes with them? They've taken my coil out and changed me to the mini pill as im in so much pain. They've found a 6cm blood filled cyst in a pocket behind my womb and on 1 of my ovaries on a scan. Still waiting

GP refusing to prescribe drug suggested by specialist
My husband had a very big heart attack almost 3 years ago. He is under the care of Professor Cowie at the Royal Brompton hospital (on the NHS) and now also has an ICD fitted. Professor Cowie said right at the beginning that my husband needs Candesartan to improve the heart muscle and increase life expectancy

Long time suffering!
I was diagnosed at 19 with PCOS and am now 26. I always suffered with it but I fell pregnant last June and went forward with a medical termination. I had such an ordeal for about 6 months of an incomplete termination, infections, severe severe bleeding (through pregnancy liners and super heavy tampons

ICD ... 4 days post op
Afternoon all, Look away now if your squeamish🤦♂️♥️. This is my scar. Its the 1st time I have seen it and thought I would share it with the BHF forum. I feel like it is healing nicely. I think it's also good to log my recovery and experience. Also today is the first day I've been out of the house

Copper IUD -Anyone with similar experience?
Has anyone with a COPPER
IUD
experienced or feel any of these?: * Even though it's non-hormonal, your hormones are completely messed up * moments of deep sadness or depression, especially when due on or on * coming on every 2 months instead of monthly (the first 6 months were normal.

Pain post op after cyst removal
Morning, i’m a new member and just looking for some reassurance post op. I had emergency surgery to remove a 10cm cyst on my right overy, which ended up with the removal of the overy and tube on 3rd September. The pain from the small incision sites on my right side and belly button seem to be settling
