My profile
It is believed that my low
iron
levels are a result of GCA and I am taking an
iron
supplement. I have taken a eye pressure test which was ok.

Iron infusions
The
iron
may have helped....but perhaps if I need another infusion the Dr. can change the dose.

Stomach cancer
Blood tests revealed very low in haemoglobin and
iron
. She was given 2 infusion for blood and one for
iron
. She then went for endoscopy app. The girl who did the endoscopy was suspicious of malignancy in stomach. She noticed bleeding in stomach as well.

Update on my journey of elimination
I have noticed my
iron
going down, my estrogen plummeting, glucose going up - had enough! This is what I have done: 1. Tried all meds under the sun, apart from T3 only (and this includes 2 different NDTs). 2. Had
iron
infusion in November in hope my lowish in range ferritin is contributing.

What causes subclinical hypothyroidism?
Iron
has always been very low in range so I’m just wondering if this is the cause for my thyroid dysfunction? Is that possible? Hashi antibodies are both always negative.

RLS Blood test results, complex and in French...
I was tested for
iron
panels, inflammation markers, B12 + B9 and a few other things. The results are in French (I live in France) and quite complex.

I'm tired all the time, no energy, my joints ache, because my
iron
levels were going up i dismissed it being
iron
and presumed it was the menopause!!! 😱 Any advice as always is very grateful 😊

Celiac and CKD
I need procrit shots weekly just to keep my
iron
levels at the bare minimum. I’m not particularly interested in eating which may make the situation worse. If you have celiac and CKD how do you feel?

Also all vits and
iron
in bloods extremely low. Anyway in the past 2 weeks my GERD has been so so bad, its seems to be everything I eat and it is so so painful. I've never been on medication for this, gaviscon just makes it 100 times worse.

Sudden recent darkness under eyes
I am thinking this is more likely a nutrient issue, like
iron
or B12 maybe? But haven't felt particularly fatigued so wondered if this can also be the result of CLL. Have any of you noticed this during your W&W? Thanks.

any tips/advice
But was told that my
iron
, ferritin and vitamin d was ok. I was wondering if there was any advice on how to feel a bit healthier.? I was as diagnosed in around 2018 with hashimotos and put on levothyroxine. No other advice was given only that i would have to basically put up with my symptoms.

Blood results
They are refusing any more than 3 monthly B12 as this falls outside guidelines and they have given me more
iron
tablets which I have already told them I can’t tolerate but because my Hb is normal, they won’t consider
iron
infusion.

Help boosting thyroid without medication?
I have been taking Magnesium and Vit D spray daily as well as Thyroid Complex by Biocare but I think I need to take more supplements, I have managed to get my ferritin up to a better level of around 70 after years of taking
iron
supplements.

hypo/hashis pregnancy bloods and vitimins
I am asking for monthly bloods for:
iron
studies, folate, vit D, B12, TPo and TGa antibodies. They are being very difficult around giving me all of these so my private endo got involved but has cc’d them in saying that monthly T3 isn’t necessary. Is this true?
