co-codamol and Apixaban, can they be taken together ok.
I'm having a lot of back pain at the moment and paracetamol isn't working. Anyone got any thoughts on the best pain killer. I tried Devils Claw and got virtually every possible side effect on the list. Plus I had AF every day I took it. All the best. Roy

Does it hurt when removing the inner Shang ring?
I was circumcised 5 days ago with Shang ring method. Pain on the 1st night was 10/10 even on pain killers. After that was 5/10 and now on Day 5 is 0/10. Doctor took the outer ring out on Day 4 and asked me to remove the inner ring that is stuck underneath shaft skin on my own with instruction given

When It Rains It Pours
After my last rant, things got worse. When I thought my GP had referred me to a dermatologist as agreed she decided what she was doing was enough to get rid of these abscesses. Only one abscess remained and antibiotics and penicillin hadn't worked. By now I had been on 8 rounds of various antibiotics

First ten days in hospice
Another update on our journey... (Brief background: after over a year of failing multiple treatments to control his cancer, my husband decided in April that he did not wish to continue pursuing treatments other than palliative care. On May 27 we were accepted into a Medicare hospice program.) So far

Impending surgery concerns
Impending knee replacement and worried about impact anesthesia and post surgery pain killers could have on already level 3 liver disease. Has anyone undergone orthopedic surgery and how did it go? What I don’t want to happen is to get a new knee and then need liver transplant because of meds.

I’m sat bawling my eyes as no pain medication is helping and to top it off my anxiety and mental health is suffering

Steroid injection in my knee has made it worse.
Morning everyone. I had another steroid injection in my knee nearly 3 weeks ago and it has actually made it worse. The one started with a bakers cyst 18 months ago and has been swollen ever since but not just out the back of the knee. It now has more swollen lumps on it and much more painful to walk

Question About Platelet Count & Liver Disease
This will probably be kinda long, I apologize. I am a 29 year old female who was recently diagnosed with Fatty Liver in February of this year. Like most people, I was just told to eat healthier & get more exercise. For the past 6 months, I have been dealing with pain in my upper right abdomen (that

Pain that is not inflammatory, how did you deal with it? What did your dr recommend?
Hi all! So in general i am doing okay. Unfortunately, no matter how better I get my hands, wrists, ankle and feet are in CONSTANT pain. I type for my job, have to travel to work and I am a part-time student (luckily right now is online) which just make it so much worse. I use compression gloves, muscle

This is my story
Hi everyone, I thought I would have to write to you all because I do not have any family anymore to consult with or talk to, as I lost my entire family circle in one huge blow, back in 2017. I have suffered severe depression and anxiety now for years which came on since a near-fatal diving accident back

Hi everyone. I’m 20 years old and currently studying at university and for the next week my flat mates have left. I got diagnosed with fibro 3 years ago. I’ve never been in as much pain as I am now. It’s in both my legs and bottom back and I’ve been struggling to even get out of bed, to walk to the

Can the bad effects on AMD of using ibuprofen for dental pain be countered with vitamin K-1? Any experience with these is welcome.
I have AMD. I have steadfastly refused to use any painkillers that reduce inflammation because they all also promote bleeding. But, right now I am in very urgent need of a root canal, and am having to wait to get treated. The only thing that seems to work on the very annoying tooth pain, which can
