30g x 8mm (or shorter) insulin syringe supplier?
Hi there - I am wondering if anyone can tell me where to get ultra-fine or micro-fine, narrowest gauge, shortest-needle insulin syringes, please? I am a total novice and can only locate them - and their 6mm-long sisters - in the USA from BD, who don't supply them to Europe or the UK. Naturally. Help,

Here's a rather inspiring story. But before reading it should be emphasised that this person was diagnosed as a T1 diabetic, where there is NO insulin present with a non functioning pancreas. If anything his story should inspire you as a T2, as in all likelihood your pancreas can be returned to functionality

Struggling with Thyroid Eye Disease
Hi everyone. I was diagnosed with TED in March this year, shortly after having a total thyroidectomy. I'd been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism 18 months previously and as my condition was never stabilised on carbimazole a total thyroidectomy was deemed to be appropriate. I'm also a long term insulin

The National Aquarium in Baltimore and DEXCOM (El acuario nacional en Baltimore y DEXCOM)
Today was a very busy day for me and the DEXCOM (when it wasn't having its issues). For most of the day starting at lunch time and all of the afternoon hours, I had spent time with my brother, his wife and their son (my nephew). We went out for lunch and got Mexican food. Very good. Hoy era un día

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Fish - Marine Omega-3 - EPA & DHA
This is a companion piece to "Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Fish", that considers marine omega-3 from seafood & supplements, & attempts to explain why it may be important in PCa, in spite of conflicting studies. Human studies have yielded confusing results. One might expect inconsistencies between populations

It's the Insulin Stupid!
The above appears at the end of Dr. Jason Fung's last post, so don't get too upset! This is an excellent presentation that clearly explains the causes of T2 diabetes: http://us7.campaign-archive1.com/?u=4f49b1bc5c73173b727fe0ca2&id=2fb21383d2&e=7f3efec03f

Diabetes and supplements ,why it is required and how it works. A very brief summary.
It has been said that diabetes is starvation in the midst of plenty. Sugar cant get into cells. METABOLISM is sluggish and cells don't communicate as a finely tuned team. Nutrients are essential part of getting in balance and correcting core problem- insulin resistance. There are two ways supplements
