Medtronic Insulin Pump saves me from hypoglycaemic episodes 24/7. Could not live without this exceptional device
Been in coma 2x before i upgraded to the Medtronic Insulin pump. The sensor tests my bg every 5 mins. Has to be programmed but when bg goes below 6.0 then alarm goes off and insulin input is suspended. Alarm does not stop until i press ok. The same when bg levels go too high it sends an elert then i

My Hb1Ac is 9.9 and fasting sugar is 155. I am on Gemer-2 tablet 4/day. Do you suggest, I should shift to insulin now ? What are the criteria to use insulin? Thanks

Natural does not mean safer. Red Yeast Rice, sold as Statin alternative, has similar risks!
...the common perception that natural is safer didn't pan out in the study of the Italian Surveillance System of Natural Health Products, similar to the findings of a prior French government analysis of adverse event reports it received on red yeast rice. : Red yeast rice supplements

Diabetes gone?
I have type 2 diabetes. I have been treating my high blood sugar with insulin for the past six months. I have recently been experiencing a lot of hypoglycemic events. In light of this, I stopped using insulin. I have been testing my body/pancreas out and my blood sugar is completely normal. I know this

Hope for everyone
My name is Bloom. My husband and I live in Finland. I am 33 and we really want to become parents. I can get pregnant, but I can not give birth to a healthy baby. I suffered from diabetes since I was 15, and insulin must be used twice a day. I do not need to remind you how it’s important to feel the motherhood

Hypothalamic effects of thyroid hormone
Often looks like thyroid hormone "controls metabolism" - as if all it does is turn the wick up or down a bit. A few papers now talk about affecting gene expression, usually quite abstractly. My belief is that we will only really see thyroid hormone issues taken seriously when we know what effects thyroid

Hypo thyroid Drugs raise Blood Sugar by 10-20 points
Hi, I have noticed that Hypo thyroid fixing drugs like Levothyroxine, Thyronorm etc raise the fasting, random and post prandial blood sugars as much as 10-20 points. I had to stop all thyroid medication due to my personal testing of the sugar levels raising and reminding high for a long time ( Insulin

The ketogenic diet (sorry rather long)
Its a bit long, but here is my answer to the questions about the keto diet. A ketogenic diet is one that is very low in carbohydrate forcing the body to burn stored fat. You would think that any diet that reduced calories would do that, but it is rather more complex than that, and in reality normal
