Could these cortisol results cause problems taking thyroid meds?
Hello I've been trying for a few years to get my health sorted: fatigue, hairloss, the usual suspects, including intransgient weight gain. My most recent tests showed high leptin and high fasting insulin (way over what they should be) so I have switched to a no-sugar, almost zero (once a week curry)

DIZZINESS ON EATING SOMETIMES AFTER A FEW BITES - THEN LASTS FOR HOURS AFTER.
ANY IDEAS what this could be? I have had lots of tests done - you name it! Only real things discovered are high cholesterol (though good diet) and high cortisol in the day. Low insulin also but blood sugar normal. PLEASE HELP!

Pramipexole and Benzodiazepine taper.
Hi, docundy, You're post had a lot of pertinence for me. I also believe many drugs cause or exacerbate rls. The trick is finding out which ones (I suspect more than just one of one;s 'drug arsenal'.) I'm 73,recently diagnosed, and would like to get off my Xanax. I take them for anxiety, have some several

B12 needles and storage question
Hi I was wondering if someone could give me some advice on B12 injections. I’ve been buying Hydroxocobalamin which comes in 2Mg ampoules and been injecting it subcutaneously daily using insulin needles which have a maximum capacity of 500Mcg. My question is, is it ok to use the whole ampoule and

Snacking, not
Hello, About 18 months ago I came upon the human / biological concept of 1, 2, or 3 distinct 30-40 minute meals each day, with at least 5 hours between them. Lately. I still occasionally casually reach during the "stomach resting & repair 5 hours" for a blackberry along the path or a stray strawberry

Blood sugar fluctuation in Hashimoto
I just was wondering if anybody with hashimoto experienced problems with blood sugar levels while on levothyroxine and liothyronine? I'm currently on 100mcg levothyroxine and 25mcg liothyronine. For some time I have noticed fluctuation of my sugar level that is getting worse. I have episodes when my

The diabetic Epidemic....
There is a staggering amount of misinformation on diabetes, a growing epidemic that afflicts more than 29 million people in the United States today. The sad truth is this: it could be your very OWN physician perpetuating this misinformation.... The latest diabetes statistics, echo an increase in diabetes

Curiosity
I am a diabetic on an insulin pump, and I am having something going on with my system that I do not understand. Seems like ever since April of 2017 my system goes crazy. It starts at the back of my neck and just heats up my body from the inside. It just feels like I am on fire. It only lasts 5 minutes
