Steroid pump for secondary adrenal insufficiency with traumatic brain injury
Hi. I’m new on this site but I wanted to share my AI stories, answer some questions and hopefully find some more resources to help us with this challenging condition. I’m reading that a lot of people on this site seem to be taking their steroids orally. I too was started on oral medication, dexamethasone

Latest results
These are my latest thyroid test results from Blue Horizon. Their advice is that my TSH is too low and if on medication, consider reducing it. However, I think these results don't look too bad. I am taking 3 grains of NatureThroid per day and I must say, I feel pretty good ( at last!! ) I would be so

Help please! I have always been fat and found out the rason for that 20 years ago, in my 30s. I have PCOS which makes me insulin resistant, in turn making all carbs a hinderence to weight loss. Yes, that includes fruit, root veg and what I call 'nice veg' (peas, sweetcorn). All the slimming clubs

Estradiol (estrogen) & Selenium.
New study below [1]. Elizabeth Platz [Johns Hopkins] has been involved in many interesting (to me) PCa studies over the past 3 decades. Including this one. It is an estradiol-selenium study using NHANES III data (National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey), but the context is the possible link

Third Blue Horizon blood report.
I have just received the latest report from Blue Horizon, but don't know what to make of it. The doctors comment thinks I am hyperthyroid, but I am not as my body is not capable of sweating, I do not have rapid heart rate either. My body is so itchy as it is very dry and I am always cold. As well as

Jerusalem artichokes are in season … grab them for the sake of your gut.
Jerusalem artichokes are in town and full of Inulin … which is super good for your gut bacteria . They are knobbly but just need a wash, don't peal and boil up with onions and a carrot for soup . liquidise well . Or wash and roast in the oven with other veg. Sadly the season is short enjoy Wulugu

After bad experience with Zoloft and Prozac, I have decided too try behavior therapy. Pharmaceuticals may work for some, but I am doing much better without, and I also learned that withdrawal may be the worst part. I understand that my Dr. Stopped Zoloft abruptly when switching to Prozac, and maybe
