Non insulin injections for type 2
Hi. I have a long and complicated health history which includes: thyroid cancer, type 2 diabetes and ckd. I was hoping for feedback from anyone who has or is using a weekly non insulin injection. I am currently on Diamicron 120 and Glixambi, but my body just isn’t coping and my last hba1c was 9.1!

This is a VERY interesting video to gentlemen of a certain age concerning enlarging of the prostate. Previous to watching this my take was a shrug of the shoulders in that it's 'something that comes to men with age. I'd gone as far as I could in researching the condition and came up against 'testosterone

The Benefits of Exercise with CLL and COVID-19
With CLL being a relatively rare cancer, it is often hard to find studies specific to our cancer. Often we are reliant on studies from more common cancers, where the challenge is determining their relevance to CLL. Of interest is this analysis of 1,340 patients enrolled in the Diet, Exercise, Lifestyle

Prednisolone&blood sugars
Hi, I am just wondering if any one else has problems with their blood sugars when taking prednisolone?! I have autoimmune chronic pancreatitis and chronic kidney failure...it’s all caused by a rare autoimmune disease called IgG4 systemic disease. Anyhow, when I end up on pred, it always makes my blood

Senolytic Supplements (type2 diabetes)
I am looking for help in insulin response and repairing beta cells. Are there products I should be looking at. Am considering supplementing with quercetin and fisetin.

Ugh now diabetes
Hi again. I have now been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I have been put on insulin injections plus Metaformin at night. I am not over weight and have never had any sign of diabetes before suddenly taking seriously ill and being admitted to hospital. I know that Metaformin depletes Vitamin B levels

Aerobic Exercise and Healthy Nutrition as Neuroprotective Agents for Brain Health in Patients with Parkinson’s Disease
Aerobic exercise (AE) as the activity using large muscle groups, rhythmic in nature (e.g., cycling, dancing, hiking, jogging, running, swimming, and walking) per se [27] may help in preventing cardiovascular disease, reducing high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (i.e., HDL-C) and adipose tissue distribution

Diabetes and CovID-19
Whilst diabetes does not increase your risk of catching Covid-19 it can make the infection. When diabetics get an infection their BG (blood glucose) can rise rapidly - a state known as hyperglycemia. As the BG rises ketoacidosis (ketones in the blood). This is more common insulin dependant diabetes.

Diet modulates brain network stability.
A new study below [1]. I think that a lot of men on ADT are concerned about the impact on brain function. Is the decline permanent? One of the problems with ADT is the emergence or worsening of symptoms of the metabolic syndrome. Many men develop a pre-diabetic condition, if not type 2 diabetes itself

PSA 3.12 after 3/17 radical prostatectomy. Future treatment thoughts?
I'm new to Advanced Prostate Cancer, moving "up" from Prostate Cancer Network due to recent pathology results after da Vinci radical prostatectomy (RP) on March 17 in Spokane, WA, with Dr. Raymond Lance, who had more than 2,000 da Vinci RPs under his belt. I feel very good about this choice. Surgery
