Pcos with regular but very light periods?
Hi all, I have lean pcos and was diagnosed via ultrasound after coming off the pill a year ago and not having a period. I had elevated testosterone levels on a blood test but everything else was fine (I have no unwanted hair growth). I started very lightly spotting a month ago and to the day I'm now

Dexcom disappointment
My 7 year old granddaughter was fitted with a Dexcom 6 yesterday. We all had high hopes for it giving her and her parents more freedom, without the regular injections etc. However, as soon as it was fitted, the alerts were beeping and her parents spent the rest of the day studying the manual and trying

Diet and RA
I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes just before Christmas, with my readings being alarmingly high. I was completely shocked as I had no symptoms and was within the healthy BMI range. I’ve just recently started on insulin (2 more injections every day on top of Methotrexate and Benepali weekly!).

type 2 diabetes
Happy and healthy New Year everyone. I had a call from my GP practice on 23 December saying I have type 2 diabetes and my levels were really high - not to eat anything sweet and avoid carbohydrates. What a shock! I’ve had a couple of appointments since then and have two tomorrow to start taking insulin

Myo-inositol supplementation - if anyone tried for Hashimoto?
Just read the info that Myo-inositol regulates the levels of TSH and FSH (follicle stimulating hormone), as well as insulin. It also reduces cholesterol. In the case of thyroid hormones, myo-inositol helps thyroid-hormone-producing cells become more efficient at building T4. Myo-inositol balances thyroid

I was referred from here to an interesting article. The 2nd article I read was a compilation of medication descriptions. It linked to a separate article for each drug. I recently refused to take vyvanse because it is under copyright and there is no generic; I refuse to participate in that system. After
