Fostair and shakes does it ever go away?
Do alternative
inhalers
have less of the shaking as a side effect. I’m hoping to change to a 24 hour one once I’ve finished my pulmonary tests. And the cramps are they better on the 24 hour ones? My feet cramps are awful. My toes splay apart when I lie down or slightly stretch out my feet.

Admitted - sigh
Got admitted again, despite being on Xolair and maintenance Prednisolone. Feel slightly disheartened? I'm hoping to leave tomorrow, but I'm struggling tonight, just using my inhaler. Hope everyone's New Year is going well.

Asthma or not?
Hi. I haven’t used a reliever or preventer asthma pump since august as I’ve been fine symptom free.. I went to the gym the other day and started feeling short of Breath easily and have done for a few days now.. I still haven’t used any inhaler as I’m not sure i have asthma due to my peak flow being 800

Confused
Hi, Could someone explain the purpose of
inhalers
? I have COPD and am constantly breathless whether I use an inhaler or not. I have tried so many different ones and have not noticed any difference in my breathing with any of them.

Fostair shortages
Hi all, it's Naomi, asthma nurse at AUK People have been telling us that they're struggling to get hold of their Fostair inhaler. I've been in touch with Chiesi, the manufacturers of Fostair, and there was a problem with logistics over Christmas and New Year and that messed the supply up - but normal

Help with steroids
I have a bad chest infection and was started on antibiotics & steroids last night. Between the steroids & using inhaler I had the jitters & racing HR which kept me awake. Can I take the steroids this morning instead of tonight? Haven't had steroids for a few years but remember being told best to take

Portable spacer?
Hi, I’ve just been recently diagnosed with asthma that can be slightly severe esp during this weather, so it requires carrying my
inhalers
and spacer with me at all times. However, my job keeps me on my feet and away from my office, I cannot bring anything big in my pocket either.

Hi I’d ask if there is a nurse who specifically deals with lung conditions. Also check there website it should tell you names of medical staff that is trained in lung conditions.Have you had your inhaler technique checked? Depending on which inhaler you use they should offer you a spacer.

Which Puppies work for mild asthma/allergy - medium/standard dog breeds that are hypoallergenic
We had a standard Poodle before and this worked. We are looking in the UK for a list of cross breeds with a poodle that might work with my asthma. (eyes itchy and asthma causing in-frequent use of ventolin inhaler etc). My asthma is under control without dogs/cats/hay/dust at the moment but don't want

Newly diagnosed with asthma - need help!
I have been suffering with breathing difficulties for 2 years, following a severe chest infection. My breathing never got back to normal. I've tried to get help from the GP several times, but was told for the first year that 'it takes time to recover from chest infections' and in the second year that

Peak flow after blue inhaler
I stopped taking the
inhalers
after about a month because I didn't feel any improvement. I've had an ongoing health issue which was diagnosed around the same time; one of the symptoms of which is shortness-of-breath. I was also deficient in ferritin, which causes SOB.
