Weaning off Sirdupla 250?
Bearing in mind that it took two years to find a combination
inhalers
which would get it properly under control in the first place and when things go pearshaped it happens pretty quickly with me.

Horrible taste in my mouth! 🤢
I have recently been ticked off by my asthma nurse as I wasn't using my brown inhaler and relying on using my blue reliver one. I'm now using my brown one correctly twice a day, and funnily enough have not had to use my blue one at all! The down side is I now have a horrible taste in my mouth. Has anyone

Update on last post
Hi AllWent to doc today with persistent chest congestion. As all my obs are good and chest xray ok, doc didnt refer me for lung ct scan. I have been referred to pulmonary rehab. I am doing a lot of breathing exercises and using my inhaler. I will try this and hope it helps. As you say on this forum

Change from Spireva to Trimbow
Just spent a week in hospital with chest infection. Discharged with a change of medication- Spiriva to Trimbow and a big dose of Prednisolone, much more than ever before. So far the Trimow doesn't seem to help and I am relying a lot on the Salbultimol reliever, which normally I wouldn't need. I wonder

coughing post trelogy inhaler?
hey all! I’ve been in trelogy for about 8 months now. I consistently have trouble holding my breathe after I take it, because it gives me a really strong impulse to cough. Usually I can fight it off for the 10 or so seconds but I do cough after taking it for a couple seconds. Am I inhaling too hard

Salamol doesn’t work for me! Is anyone else finding it less effective than Ventolin?
Hello asthma buddies, Ok.. so while I’m all for saving the planet, I’ve been told my new blue inhaler, Salamol, is a CFC free equivalent to Ventolin. If I order a repeat prescription for Ventolin I automatically now get a Salamol. This happens at all phamrmacies I’ve tried. I have been told that eventually

New Salmol inhaler tastes awful
Has anyone been prescribed a new blue inhaler to replace the Ventolin blue one? I've just been given Salmol and thankful my asthma is well controlled because it tastes like glue. Are there any other options that don't taste so bad?

I don't want to live like this, always struggling to breath, and constantly on my

Sudden rapid drops in SP02 that recover quickly
Hi, Does anyone else have experience of SP02 levels dropping suddenly and then recovering quickly multiple times of day and night? I have talked to my respiratory nurse and he changed my inhaler to trimbow which seems to be helping, but today my Bluetooth sp02 oximeter recorded 42 drop (reduction of

My 17 month old daughter is in hospital every two weeks with viral wheeze
I’ve just joined the forum and I would really appreciate so help and advice. We have been in hospital 7 times this year with our beautiful baby daughter. Every time she gets a cold it ends up causing her lungs / airways to construct and we have to rush her to hospital. She really struggles for 1-2 days

Asthma remission for 6 months
I was diagnosed with asthma as a child, 8-9 years of age. My asthma symptoms come and go, but I’ve went 6 months without any major symptoms. I wake up coughing every morning, shortness of breath and sometimes I throw up due to coughing so much but I put this all down to smoking. I’ve stopped smoking

Confusing advice from consultant
I had a terrible experience today. My son's asthma consultant became annoyed at me and my husband because we chose to homeschool our five year old, largely because of his asthma. He gets three to four days of constant coughing when it flares and he was like this at least twice a month. We think viruses
