toothpaste trigger?
last night when I was brushing my teeth my asthma really kicked off, I couldn’t breathe out so couldn’t breathe in. Luckily I had an inhaler in the bathroom. I’ve struggled to breathe when brushing my teeth before but never as badly as this. Does anyone else struggle with toothpaste? Is sensitivity

Why am I losing my voice
Hi AllI am on Relvar Ellipta inhaler for my COPD which has been really good for me. No cough, no breathlessness, little mucus. However my voice is different and sometimes I am really croaky. I drink lots throughout the day ( not alcohol leave that to a few night's a week). Has anyone else had this

Delays with prescriptions
I order early and have to monthly due to the
inhalers
I take. But it's getting silly. I am on the last few doses left. Worrying when we are not to stop taking them. Is it just me?

Have just been diagnosed with bronchomalacia on top of asthma and adrenal insufficiency
During my last admission to hospital I was put under a very thorough Dr who diagnosed me with bronchomalacia and as there's no cure I've to take a lot of steroid
inhalers
and several other drugs to keep my airways clear.

Asthmatic run this a.m.
W4r2 I took my inhaler this morning but first 3 min run was a struggle after that it settled and was OK. Wonder if I am starting off too quickly. Will make an effort to stay slow. Otherwise legs fine. Ready to go again!

A bit of advice please
I have Eosinophils Asthma and take Mepolizumab injection plus use a couple of steroid
inhalers
. I am please to say that my asthma is well under control and I am able to exercise. Prior to the asthma I successfully used ibuprofen to help with inflammation.

Sorry I do not use ventolin as it causes me palpitations. I am on a duel inhaler called symbicort. Sorry I can't help.

Does peak flow increase in non asthmatics following ventolin?
Say someone has no classic symptoms of asthma (wheezing, breathlessness or coughing). Peak flow has always been low their whole life but has a small variation everyday (290- 330). Spirometry is normal (including above average fev1). No change in peak flow following a 5 week steroid inhaler trial. Can

Short of Breath
I am not so bad I need
inhalers
. I have done so much reading trying to figure out if this could be the PMR, a side effect of being on Pred. for nearly 3 years or issues with my adrenals from my recent taper to 5.5mg Pred.

Thanks to all who replied to my recent post about the switch from Ventolin. Seems inhaler technique is all important so will watch that. With regard to the environment, 2 years ago we made a diet change only meat we eat is chicken, no more than twice a week, the least polluting of all meats to produce

Costochondritis
I had a bad cough with a chest infection (in my opinion). The third time this year. On previous 2 occasions, I was given 30mg pred per day for 5 days and an antibiotic, and chest cleared each time. I have been in contact with covid, but have not had +ve test. This time I was not given, I was refused

Changing from MDIs to DPIs for the environment
I do get fed up being told all the time that the
inhalers
are 'the same'. That includes users who get on fine with Salamol.

problems after ablation
my husband had his ablation on 12th June and has had problems every since. He didn’t have any episodes in the year leading up to it but was advised to have it as he can’t tolerate the medication. He has been getting episodes every day then 6 weeks post ablation developed a chronic cough and breathing

Any advice?
Hi guys, sorry to be a total let down. I have cirrhosis and TIPS stent fitted 8 years ago. I have battled the booze many times and last periosd of sobriety was 19 months, at the moment it has got hold of me again and I need to stop. Getting delivery from Deliveroo of 10 cans of lager a day, its not much
