Ventolin inhaler -v- salbutamol generic inhaler
I feel better with the genuine ventolin inhaler rather than the generic one. Does anyone else have any advice on this?

Shielding letter?
Hi, I have a question, I thought I might get a letter about shielding because of the
inhalers
I’m on, steroid use and a hospital admission last year but nothing yet.

Amniodorone
I am taking .. Fostair inhaler, losartan potassium, bumetanide, amniodorone , warfarin. Since starting the amniodorone, prescribed by a registrar in my GPs, I have had swollen feet. It was given to bring my blood pressure down. Would it be o.k. to cut the dosage in half and see if that helps. I don't

Spiriva not working - broken?
Good morning everyone. I have been taking Spiriva and Fostair for three years. They are great. Last week whilst using Spiriva in my usual manner I saw white mist escaping from the sides of the mouthpiece. Now my asthma is well controlled 24/7. So the next day when I used Spiriva I took in a massive breath

Seretide 250 to fostair
So I had a telephone consultation on Monday with the respiratory consultant and we agreed that my asthma is not controlled. So he decided to change my inhaler from seretide to fostair. I have a bit of an odd question for anyone that has been on both. When I take my seretide inhaler, it really speeds

leading upto the consultant, they put me on qvar 100 2 puffs. Following this period i had a really good year whereby i *thought* i didnt need
inhalers
and basically stopped the steroid.

Still Not Received Shielding Letter
I'm on benralizumab injections, daily steriods which Ive taken for over 10 years, 4
inhalers
, other tablets and a nasal spray. I spoke with my specalist team 10 days ago and they said letters were still coming out. I contacted my gp surgery last week and got told the same.

Asthma or Covid-19?
Any advice last week I developed shortness of breath which lead me to Amu unit. All stats were normal, ECG was clear, chest x Ray clear, Doctor said I didn't have covid lung, bloods taken, all fine except raised d dimer (blood clot) of 538. Had ultrasound scan on left leg no clot found. Doctor said probably

Am I a vulnerable adult if I have an aneurysm?
I have been treated with antibiotics and asthma
inhalers
. I have a new aneurysm where my clip is where I had a subarachnoid haemorrhage. Would I be classed as vulnerable? I work in a care home as an activities coordinator and feel that they are anxious for me to back in.

Steroid inhaler list
Does anyone have the list of
inhalers
that tells you if they qualify as being in the vulnerable category? I saw it yesterday, but I don’t remember if it was on here or on the BLF site.

Received shielding letter, unsure why.
I had several tests and have tried several different
inhalers
. My understanding was that the tests showed no problems at all and it appears the night-time issues are more than likely caused by GERD, not my asthma.

Newly Diagnosed
Hello, I am new here, as well as newly diagnosed with asthma. Finding it kind of hard to cope with now, so I decided to vent here and ask for advice. I am 27 years old, male. I would like to apologize in advance for the incoming wall of text. Even though I have just been diagnosed I think I've had symptoms

Incorrect information on Asthma.org
Asthma.org.uk advice is incorrect regarding shielding with selected
inhalers
. I take 2 puffs twice a day with Fostair 200/6 and have been told by my doctor and by a paramedic that i would not be considered someone who needs to be shielded.

Inhaler orders
I was just wondering if I should order my
inhalers
in advance for my COPD as I was in the shops today and realized how bad the panicked buying has become so should I be worried about getting my
inhalers
. Anyone have any ideas or advice

Opinions on the use of an Oxygen Concentrator
There are days when she avoids Ventolin Shake altogether and the reduced usage has been commented upon by the chemist when only issuing two
inhalers
this month, not four.
