Inhaler disposal, please think of the environment.
I was at a meeting today and mentioned was the disposal of used
inhalers
. We were encouraged to take our used
inhalers
to the pharmacy for appropriate disposal, where the
inhalers
are subjected to proper disposal avoiding cross contamination and avoidance of plastic emissions.

I still feel airway clearance has the biggest impact on how my chest feels, but it’s the constant fatigue that has me buggered & I don’t think the
inhalers
help that at all. Still trying to get my hear around the whole lama / laba / steroid differences.

Lingering dry cough
My 5 year old has asthma and is on preventative
inhalers
. He's recently had a flare, triggered by a virus. The cough got worse and has eased, however, it is lingering, we are on week 2 now. When he runs, dances etc he coughs and if he moves from inside to outside. Any reason why?

BRONCHIECTASIS….PLUS Allergic to medical face mask…any non polypropylene/TPE ones available?
On

Asthma review
She was lovely, checked my
inhalers
and one I find difficult to use with my arthritic hands, she is going to try to change. Most impressive was that she had brought me information about bronchiecstasis! I was diagnosed by a consultant at my local hospital, a huge teaching hospital, in 2012.

Outdoor symptoms: daily patterns in ozone
My defenses are Xolair, steroid
inhalers
, the rescue inhaler, rescue steroids, an FFP2 mask (if particulates are the problem), a full respirator (when ozone or smells are a problem), staying indoors, exercising indoors, and my "safe space" in the filtered-air tent (HEPA+activated charcoal).

Using Fostair 100/6 & Ventolin Advice
I read that I can use the Ventolin inhaler as needed which I did one last night but I’m worried about overusing the 2 different
inhalers
. Has anyone else had this problem? Would appreciate any advice. Thanks

I’ve had some sort of low-level virus going on for about a week now. General lethargy, and then last Monday I woke with that bruised achey feeling in the edge of my ear (like I’d slept on it curled in) which is still with me. Then Tuesday morning I thought I’d cricked my neck but it turned out to be

Salbutamol for Myasthenia
My EMG results were "Normal" so, despite the fact I have chronic muscle weakness that responds to prednisolone, 0.12 nmol/L of anti-AChR antibodies, and have lost my tendon reflexes, my neurologist says I don't have any neurological condition. I also have no detectable inflammation, so my rheumatologist

week9 at last!!
it’s been, in equal parts, a long time coming and also it sneaked up on me. I woke this morning at 7, closed my eyes for a minute and woke again at 9.40!! This keeps happening lately… my new pillows are the bomb!! So by the time I gathered my wits ( they took some finding!) , got my gear sorted and

asthma & respiratory illnesses
Hi - I’m asthmatic and it’s always been mild for the most part (managed by salamol & clenil for my reliever and preventer). Luforbec info
Hi, thanks for all the messages, very, very useful and interesting. Here's some back. I have noticed that the Luforbec inhaler renders the 'harmonica' note on the spacer ineffective unless you have the suction of a Dyson. It allows an inordinate amount of air past the canister. This was discovered with

hi, David K and really interesting posts , I am 77 this year and my reliever inhaler was changed last year with no consultation from Ventolin to Salamol it might be labelled good for environment but I found no comparison to ventolin .
