Rituximab or Infliximab?
I have looked at the alternative
Infliximab
and would love to hear from anyone who's on either medication. Also does anyone know if influx iamb causes weight gain? Thanks

Does anyone have experience of remission?
So she wants to withdraw my meds (methoxtrate +
infliximab
). Additional reasons are that I have fatty liver disease and a reaction to sunlight (which has since stopped even in the bright autumn sunshine).

Living with Behcet's: Medication
Following a reply to my whinging and moaning about horrendous sweating it has been suggested that one of the 'big girl's' drugs -
infliximab
- might help.

Hi. I have Takayasu's Arteritis and over the last 18 months my disease activity has progressed despite a recent course of cyclophosphamide.
There is now talk of me starting
infliximab
. I'm interested to hear what people's experiences are with this drug - good or bad! Thanks. Jane

Methotrexate, infliximab, Citalopram and high blood pressure?
Have recently been diagnosed with high BP on top of everything else and was wondering if anyone on Methotrexate or
Infliximab
had similar problems? Thought it might be related. Also on citalopram anti-depressant.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF RA AND ITS TREATMENT
A relatively new group of drugs are the anti-TNF drugs – adlimumab, etanercept and
infliximab
and the B-cell drug rituximab which are known as biologics. Biologics are currently only being used in people who have not responded to other disease modifying drugs.

A good treatment experience
Sun is shining here in Edinburgh after a horrendous wet day yesterday. i had my
infliximab
infusion this morning. I try to get an early morning appointment and arrived very early because the RA wards are now in a spanking new building which I'd never been to before.

Australian sufferer
Have tried
Infliximab
, Colchicine, Cyclosporine.and Thalidomide. I'm not tolerating the Thalidomide very well (3 - 4 capsules a week) and probably will go on to something else in the next couple of months.

A good experience and another much less so!
And this late phone call was to tell me that maybe I have lupus (the doctor has never seen me) and that I should come off
infliximab
. He had the impression that the light sensitivity was acute and recent. But I've had three episodes since 2004 and was just wanting to talk about how to manage it.

My skin reaction to sunlight/glare has returned. I'm on methotrexate and infliximab - any suggestions?
I'm due to have a postponed infusion of
infliximab
on Thursday and am desperate because I'm on a special holiday in a couple of weeks time. Those of you who can, enjoy the sunshine! I'm just looking at it through double glazing! XX

Being checked out for anti-TNF infusion
Just wanted to celebrate my 65th anti-TNF (
infliximab
) infusion! i was wondering whether the skin reaction to sunlight might stop them giving it as they are SO careful. Anyway they gave me a check up (temp, blood pressure, pulse, urine dip etc) and I passed to get the magic potion.

My experience of anti-tnf
Then a quick saline drip to make sure that we use all the precious
infliximab
up, more obs and then you’re free. The impact of the anti-tnf has varied over the ten years I’ve been having it. It took a few treatments to kick in.

My Living Rheum :)
Its 2003, I am put forward for a trial of
Infliximab
(Remicade). The results of the infusions were literally amazing; I had my life back and with it I was able to do many of the things I believed I might never do again.
