Lymphopenia after whole pelvic radiation
To anyone who received whole pelvic radiation: 16 months ago I had HDR brachytherapy followed by
IMRT
and whole pelvic radiation (WPR), after 7 months of lupron and zytiga (+pred) (I just finished 24 months of lupron+Z). 6 months ago I had a whole blood count (WBC) with differential, and in it I saw

PSA 3.12 after 3/17 radical prostatectomy. Future treatment thoughts?
Guy Jones in Richland, WA.I'm aware there is a Varian Edge system with
IMRT
/IGRT in Richland with Dr. Guy Jones, but have not yet had a consult with him; looks like that's an option. Spokane appears to only have Varian Truebeam and Cyberknife, but no Varian Edge. Your thoughts on RT hardware/ROs?

Secondary Cancer?
IMRT
, Brachytherapy, ADT, Provenge. Recently a mass near the ureter, 4.2cm was seen on a Ct scan. Needle biopsy; carcinoma w/squamous differential. Maybe a secondary cancer, possibly caused by excessive radiation. Getting a second review of slides. Anyone with comments or questions appreciated.

Seeking Post-RP Advice for Very High Risk, G9, Low PSA
Two months into the ADT treatment, he would begin a 7-8 week course of daily
IMRT
radiation. Because I already had RP, he said he could only administer an approx. 6000 rad (?) dose. He collected a uPSA which came back at 0.019 with testosterone level of 531.

What is major source of PSA Expression after ADT Vacation?
Once one has become PSA undetectable, with prostate zapped with
IMRT
, and goes on ADT vacation what is the most likely cause of increased PSA expression? Micro tumors in blood? Remnants of prostate tumor (if any), or existing mets?

Stopping Casodex before stopping Lupron
I am on day 30/34 of
IMRT
Salvage Radiation. I started Bicalutimide just prior to starting Leuprolide Acetate back in November. I have tolerated the ADT treatment fairly well with minimal side effects.

SBRT
RO is considering 28 day
IMRT
vs SBRT since no protection in place. Incredibly agitated that placement was aborted after 10 sticks! Hoping there is no complication from that alone. Told they have had 4 others they couldn't get it in.

Has anyone seen Dr. Eric Small @UCSF?
I started Casodex shortly after diagnosis last June, then Lupron in August, and radiation
IMRT
in September. My PSA was 0.03ng/mL, down from 3.55 mg/mL before biopsy and 0.9mg/mL before radiation.

Hmm... Why am I on Zytiga?
Or perhaps, after HDR Brachy and 25 days of
IMRT
; Could it be overkill, an overabundance of caution (Hitting it hard and fast)? Best, AJ

Non standard Firmagon dosing effective for 3 months from single injection.
(Starting at .25, now at .11, two months post
IMRT
to pelvis.) It appears Firmagon can be used effectively for ADT at less frequent dosing intervals than standard for ADT. The initial dose half-life of degarelix is 40 days due to slow release of drug from depot in fat tissue.

Decipher...0.71 What now?
Started ADT (Casodex/Lupron) October 6th/
IMRT
January 6th 2020. I was supposed to only do 4 month ADT run, but she wants me to do 6 months. I am tolerating ADT fairly well and will probably do it. She is referring me to a MO.

Has it been enough years...
...to compare the cure efficacy of SBRT to
IMRT
over ten years? Does SBRT have a lower incidence of salvage radiation?

When to start ADT for metastatic disease
They read the slides and said Gleason 9 and because of that I should do
IMRT
with 6 months of ADT. I did that. PSA undetectable for 2 years. Then the slow creep. I went to see Dr. Snuffy Myers at that time. I went as Vegan as I could (I cheat now and then but in general am pretty good).

My Final Lupron Injection
After tolerating 44
IMRT
treaments and 21 months of ADT pretty well, I am glad to report that my eighth and final three-month Lupron injection was yesterday. My PSA is still undetectable.

PET PSA etc
This is after
IMRT
Brachy and ADT treatments for Gleason 9 PC. So there seems to be "biochemical failure" I had an axumin PET scan and it showed two areas of concern, prostate and hylar lymph node. Then had a prostate biopsy which was negative.

stricture surgery before radiation
I’ve decided on
IMRT
and I received a 4 month Lupron injection last week. Based on a questionnaire and conversation with my radiologist and urologist, they would like me to start Flomax and schedule a scope procedure to examine me for any strictures.

Which scans are suitable for recurrent PCa with very low PSA
I had surgery in 2011 and adjuvant
IMRT
to prostate bed in 2012. Pt3b, Gleason 8 (4+4) with tertiary 5. Psa recurrence 5 years ago, PSA rose from nadir 0.003 to 0.8. Treatment with Casodex since recurrence. Current regimen 50 mg / day.

Dads case, psa climbing on zoladex
Over a period of 3 years his PSA rose to .2 from .04 and he underwent
IMRT
33 cycles in October, 2016. His pre-RT PSMA scan which was done in Sep 2016 was normal. In January 2017 surprisingly his PSA rose to 0.9 from one lab, and to 1.8 from another lab.

Oligometastatic PC and Radiation
My husband then met with the radiologist in his office, and he felt confident that either Cyberknife (probably not covered by insurance) or
IMRT
radiation to the prostate and the mets is an appropriate next step. Does anyone have any thoughts/insight on this?
