Prostate Cancer and Vitamin D (again)
A friend sent me links to two videos, one of which has been posted here before. It's by Dr John Campbell, whom Tall_Allen has described as a "quack" and a "nurse teacher" for reasons I don't understand. OK, I understand he trains nurses. The second video, link below, is rather long (apologies) but is

Over range T3 on combination T3/T4 medication
I posted several times last year about my 18 daughter who was very ill with chronic fatigue and severe bowel issues amongst other things. We discovered that her FT3 and FT4 were both very low and this was may have been the cause of many of her symptoms. In March last year her Medichecks tests came

Dieticians???
I know most of you will have probably been involved with nhs weight management at some point so I wondered if this is the norm...I've had 3 zoom sessions in the last 18 months with a young guy who advised me to up my protein - which was low. Now at least 60g/day. He also said my calorie intake wasn't

Hi New to this forum and RLS. Insomnia is crippling me and affecting everything from weight gain to cognitive abilities. I am desperately seeking sleep. GP has prescribed Quinine but little affect. Also on iron tablets, B12, Vit D, Magnesium. Next stop Ropinole. I’m scared to take this as there appears

Besremi Update 15 Months
Hi Community! I titrated my Besremi to 180 from 150 over the last three doses (a bit of a story there for another time). I assumed I'd need a phlebotomy as I hadn't had a CBC for 7 weeks and my Hematocrit was already 40 but it went down 2 points! Almost never happens without phlebotomy. Everything

Any red flags in these results or am I barking up wrong tree?

Daughter starting B12 loading doses- question re supplements
Hello again, I've just got off the phone to GP and she has sanctioned loading doses EOD. She initially offered once every two weeks. I said 'Oh I though they were supposed to be EOD' and she said 'Well she doesn't fit the criteria for deficiency' but seemed to consider for a few seconds and then said

Any advice for a friend? Folate, ferritin and Vitamin D…
Hello… I have a friend who has been hypothyroid for decades, and is now late seventies. She has felt suddenly exhausted and put it down to life events, but had a FBC, which the GP said was ‘fine’. Having had such invaluable help from so many of you on here, I suggested she got the results emailed, and

Normal results but still feeling incredibly fatigued.
Hi A couple of months ago I posted to ask for advice about an upcoming Drs Appointment to discuss subclinical hypothyroid blood test results. I'd been on annual blood tests following a diagnosis of hyperthyroidism in 2013. Carbimazole brought results down and then into hypo, medication stopped and

Is there any point me testing FT3 levels 4 hours after dosing,ie peak T3 to satisfy neg Endo that im not overdosing?
Hi Everyone, Ie if 4 hrs in and my T3 is below 6.8 NHS range ,then I am not overmedicated am I ? Its true I havnt found my sweet spot, and my TSH is just below NHS range. at 0.08. But my T4 is 15.3 and T3 5.8 ,both in NHS range , so how can that be overmedicated if these two are 'in the accepted range

Don't know What's happening to me!!
Doc recommended 2 x Amytryptyline in Feb., after it was discovered I had 2 x damaged discs in my lower back. Referred me to Physio, (appt. on 22nd!)I was OK for a couple of months, then started to feel dizzy, lost my appetite and taste, everything tastes sweet!, even a roast dinner. Went to see ACP

Need advice in adjusting dose
I hope everyone is making progress in finding their sweet spots. I’m here again, needing help once more. I’m only able to stay healthy forever 2-3 weeks at any one time. Can’t seem to maintain good thyroid health for too long. I’m very frustrated and feel like I’m heading towards a dead end street!

New to this group
Hi all,I have hashimotos and hypothyroidism and have been a member on the thyroid forum for a while. It's been suggested I post on here for some interpretation of some bloods. I have been tested for PA but was told it was normal, but I'm sceptical given what I've read and what I'm experiencing. Apologies

However, there is no recommendation

Distribution of medication and supplements throughout the day.
In my efforts to optimise the effect of C/L medication and oral supplements, I would like advice on this, to promote positive drug / supplements interactions if possible and to prevent any negative interactions. For example, I am familiar with the interaction carbidopa <> B6, but what is the best time
