Sperm morphology
We just received our report from our clinic from this last round and I was really surprised that hubbys sperm morphology was only 4% - that seems to be at the very bottom of normal and borderline needing
ICSI
. We have never been told we need this. Count and motility are fine.

Mother’s Day...
After 2 failed fresh rounds of
ICSI
and with the 3rd starting shortly, I’m starting to worry that it won’t happen for me. I’m feeling particularly anxious this year as it will be my sisters first Mother’s Day. She had a baby just before Christmas.

No more heartbeat in week 8 but not giving up!
I look on positive side that at least
ICSI
worked on me, and I'm not giving up just yet. I will continue to eat healthy, exercise regularly and look for next opportunities. I'm already 41, and don't know how much time I still have.

Surgical sperm extraction or donation?
We were all set up for starting
ICSI
this month and then my partners already poor semen count - less than 100,000 got worse and we failed to get any sample To freeze. The options now are to give up, attempt surgical extraction or use donor sperm.

Coping with infertility
I’m 34, with one round of failed ivf/
icsi
behind me. I was previously unexplained but I’ve just had very poor AMH result through (2.5) and feel as though our chances are now greatly diminished.

2nd attempt of ICSI, endo scratch?!
Hi ladies, Sorry I've been a bit quiet since we got our BFN. It has been so tough, this is the first time I have felt the strain of me and my other half. We have both felt really raw and every time it gets mentioned we both get a bit bitter. Thankfully things have calmed down and I think we are ready

Embryo grow slower than 1 week, anyone had similar experience?
However, my gynecologist encouraged me saying at least
ICSI
worked on you. :) I'm 41, and I'm not sure how much time I have but keep finger crossed that I will succeed with 50% of chance.

Seeking a little support from those who know how it feels.
Today was the end of my 2 weeks wait after a second round of
icsi
. I've got a negative result which follows two miscarriages (1 natural pregnancy & 1
icsi
done last august). I'm 37 with very high FSH levels (17) and reduced ovarian reserve.

Post egg collection pain
I’m on my first short protocol
ICSI
cycle, and had egg collection yesterday- we got 11. I’ve got stage 4 endo and went into the cycle aware of an endometrioma on my Left ovary.

Oh what to do.
On our last cycle we had to use some of the frozen stuff but it didnt thaw well and we had to convert to
Icsi
at an extra cost of a £1000. So my question is, do we pay for the storage and hope we dont need it as there is 4 frozen embryos from the round of
icsi
.

Struggling with thin lining - anyone tried G-CSF?
We’ve now had two fresh unsuccessful
ICSI
cycles & one abandoned frozen cycle.

15 eggs 🍳 7 fertilised with ICSI, what next?
The hospital have just rung and said out of the 17 eggs collected, 15 were mature enough to fertilise and 7 have fertilised. Has anyone has similar situations and how many have made it to day 3 or 5? It’s weird because I feel like everytime we get positive news, within 10 minutes I’m back to thinking

A small win! Also this is for anyone needing Assisted Oocyte Activation
Next step would be
ICSI
but my clinic said that based on what they saw, even
ICSI
would likely fail. Failed fert with
ICSI
still happens about 1-2% of the time. So they suggested using a calcium ionophore to activate the egg also known as Assisted Oocyte Activation.

8 wks pregnant, 2 bleeds in a wk, very scared, any advice?
I'm 40, and 8 wks pregnant (9 wks in 2 days), from our 1st
ICSI
cycle. I'll try and keep this brief. All was going fine, had my 7 wk scan last wk, and little bean looked perfect, we saw the heartbeat, and all was well. Myself, and OH were over the moon.

New to IVF - EC, work, side effects
Turning to my part, I do though have some questions on IVF/
ICSI
and would be so grateful to hear from someone who has been through the process. 1. Egg collection - I am petrified about the surgery for egg collection.

Today received a morning phone call to let us know 6 were good for
icsi
but 5 went in for the 5 days of blastocyst! I know it’s quality not quantity but I pray to god all 5 will survive! I’m positive

Migraine prevention
I am 41 and will be doing long protocol next month with
ICSI
. I am a bit worried about the hormonal effect on my migraines and was wondering about starting some regular prevention drugs - have stayed away from them so far and just take magnesium and riboflavin along with pregnacare.
