Transfer tomorrow
Embryologist told us they would us
ICSI
which we were already prepared for as my husband's samples have mostly been poor morphology. Had the call Thursday that 11 had fertilised and another call yesterday that all 11 are growing really well and good quality. We are in for transfer tomorrow.

8dp3dt think it's all over 😢
Last
icsi
failed in August. Can't help but feel this is all over. I've been really calm and preparing myself for the worst, but now I just feel sad. I feel like pmt has kicked in tonight and feeling moody / angry. Didn't want to bother my mum with this, and my hubby is just saying not to worry x x

Dealt a blow after egg collection
As if that wasn’t enough of a blow, they rang me again on my way home to say the donor sperm hadn’t thawed as well as expected, and we would have to try
ICSI
now. My head is all over the place and All I can do is cry. I’ve tried to be so positive through it all up to here!

OTD - definitive negative result
Our second IVF cycle (
ICSI
this time) went so much better than the first and we actually made it to embryo transfer this time. We’ve been trying to stay so hopeful and positive and I think we were really expecting a positive.

Nurse appointment questions
Hi we have our appointment with nurse thursday to begin
icsi
. 1 will be day 5 of my cycle and we are having flare short protocol with 350 strength i believe. The nurse said on phone we would be starting drugs/meds on day 21 so hopefully mid feb. Are there any questions i should ask?

Dear ladies I am currently 21 weeks pregnant following
ICSI
conception last Autumn. I've developed complications early in the pregnancy (OHSS) but all has settled soon after and I've had a good pregnancy so far.

One precious embryo
From the 3 eggs collected only 2 were suitable for
ICSI
and of these only one fertilised. Last year the embryologist told me that only a 1/3 of embryos make it to blastocyst stage. So we are transferring at d3 instead of d5.

Lines getting fainter
We’ve just done our first round of
ICSI
/IVF. We tested on Friday night and got a good strong line (9dp5dt). Saturday morning I tested again and the line was way less. We waited another 24 hours and tested again this morning and the line is the same as yesterday mornings (still very faint).

IVF Waiting List
As of yesterday we have finally gone on the waiting list for
ICSI
IVF. Our consultant told us the current waiting list is 10 months (I'm in Northern Ireland). Has anyone any info on if waiting times are realistic or did it in fact take longer/shorter?

Feeling Hopeless
We've had the same thing happen twice (nil fertilisation with
ICSI
which noone has seen or understands) and other than my husband and I taking a bucket load of vitamins /proxeed plus etc, nothing has been changed so why would the result?

My IVF miracle has arrived 😍😍
Morning all, After 3 failed
ICSI
cycles with very poor quality eggs and being advised to go for DE instead we persevered for 1 last cycle with my eggs and the result is here. My gorgeous (Yes I'm biased) little girl arrived on the 6th January weighing 5lb 13oz.

High sperm DNA fragmentation
I know we’re doing IVF with
ICSI
anyway but it just makes me that bit more worried about miscarriage and birth defects if we do manage to get a BFP.

Egg collection tomorrow - 2nd round of ICSI
Hi everyone, Can't believe I'm at this stage again! Have my egg collection tomoro, very anxious and hopeful that we get some eggs. It's our 2nd cycle. Our 1st failed in August, and we didn't get any embryos to freeze so have had to go through the whole long protocol again. Less anxious than last time

Round 2 in Feb...Who's with me?!
taking our acupuncturists advice, Hubby and I have decided to postpone our next
ICSI
round until next month...so in about 4/5 weeks time! We will use Jan to detox and cut out everything bad just to give us a bit of a health boost before we start again! Is there anyone else doing IVF/

Guaranteed Blastocysts from Fertility Clinic
I do understand the importance of an embryo reaching blastocysts but achieving pregnancy with a live birth isn't necessarily down to the embroy reaching blastcyst befrore ET for an IVF/
ICSI
/ED I would be so gratful if anyone has any experince of using a clinic who gurantees this and what was their outcome

Close friends pregnancy
We have had a first round of
icsi
in September which wasn’t successful and it did take me a few months to get my mojo back, no one tells you how much of an emotional journey it is! I finally feel now in a place to try again.
