DE journey starts here!
Failed
Icsi
in September left us a bit scared. Opted for DE in November and got “the phone call on Friday. We have a donor who is willing to egg share. Really happy but terrified at the same time. Still so many hoops to jump through and don’t want to get our hopes up.

Failed fertilisation
Has anybody else had unsuccessful fertilisation with
icsi
. My husband and I had
icsi
last week (after his successful sperm retrieval). They managed to get 7 eggs from me- 4 where immature and 3 just didn’t fertilise. It never even entered my mind that this could happen 😔

8dpfet today and testing negative
I have had 3 rounds of
icsi
and it was that last round that gave me my beautiful daughter, now 20 months. I thank god every day for her and still can't believe how lucky I am. I just watch her sleep in her cot at night and feel so privileged.

How do you know your egg quality is poor?
Most doctors we've seen since our first round (15 collected, 14 mature, 8 fertilised with
ICSI
, a few made it to blast but only one good enough to transfer and none to freeze) have said that the issues we had with embryo quality could be my husband's dna fragmentation (which we've now got in the normal

New to IVF, needing help and advise :)
To start of with I was getting quoted for IVF/
ICSI
treatment... the prices was great so I started to get excited until I then realise that none of the prices included all the medication needed 😔 Now after a lot of searching and the doctor finalising I now know what medications I need to start my treatment

Frustrated with folks around
We were advised to do
icsi
and in round one got 10eggs and 1 pgs normal, round 2 19 eggs and zero pgs normal. Docs kept saying since I'm 35 etc..i found inspiration from a few folks here and pushed hubby to meet an andrologist who did DNA fragmentation and found out 48pc abnormal.

SpermComet Test
Urologist is amazed we managed to have our daughter 2 years ago by
ICSI
, says the embryologist literally found a needle in a haystack. He said to have Comet test to work out whether the damage is happening in the production of the Semen or at ejaculation.

Change of medication
Hi everyone I am currently on my 2nd round of
icsi
, I’ve been taking buserelin for a week and started with my stimulation medication yesterday but my consultant has decided to change me to gonal F rather than menopour that I used through the first round.

Failed ICSI after successful fertilisation with IVF
Does anyone have experience of a successful
ICSI
after a failed first attempt? I'm trying to work out if I have the emotional strength and finances to go again...

Should I go straight back on Prostap? After first unsuccessful ivf
Hello, We’ve just found out that our first round of ivf (
ICsi
) was unsuccessful. We don’t know why - follow up app on 11 April. Lack of info from my clinic about what now in terms of managing endo so I will be chasing them today.

When should I expect my period after chemical pregnancy??
Hi there, My last period was Christmas day, had a positive pregnancy test on 31st January after 3day embryo transfer with
icsi
. Found out on 7th Feb I have had a chemical pregnancy. Hormones all over the place. Any ideas when I should get a period.

Feeling so sad.
This journey takes so much from us, I am avoiding friends and family as I can’t face them right now, and I don’t want to make plans for later in the year as the only plans I really want to make are baby plans but I can’t face thinking about another round of
icsi
either.

EC update
They did
ICSI
as husbands sperm count was a bit low yesterday (crazy as he has had a very high count in all the tests he has had before). Clinic called this morning to say that all eggs were all mature and 6 had fertilised! ‘This is better than we ever expected. So very happy right now.

Which way to go next?
Hi, I miscarried 4 weeks ago. 1 round of
ICSI
gave us 2 embryos. 1st transfer didn't take, 2nd made it to 9 weeks pregnancy.

FET Negative Result - heartbroken.
Second round was
ICSI
again and I produced 20 eggs, 3 resulted in blastocysts. 1 negative result. 1 positive result but this ended up being ectopic and I had to have my left tube removed. Third round, I produced 21 eggs and 2 fertilised. 1 fresh transfer fail.

Here’s to moving forward!!
Apparently due to a shortage of donor sperm she has decided to go straight to
ICSI
to increase our chances as this will be our third and final try with this donor before we have to choose another one. She went through the timeline and the changes to medication from the previous IUIs.

Struggling
We are going to wait until after the wedding more because we cant afford
ICSI
and a wedding but I just don't know? Its hard. My main reason for my message is to see if there is anyone near me who could also do with a friend....

Deflated with all this....anyone any advice or help!!
Semen analysis all perfect. 1st ivf max dose of Gonal f, complete disaster in September. 4 follicles , 2 eggs retrieved, only one good enough to do
icsi
. Zero fertilization. Told only hope is donor. Never forget the utter devastation.

After a failed
ICSI
cycle we have one embryo frozen. I was just wondering what the process is for a frozen transfer compared to what I have just been through.x

Unused meds
I have just started a cycle of
ICSI
so my fridge is stocked up with Gonal F and ovitrelle plus menopur, cyclogest and Buserelin stored appropriately, but we are now considering postponing this cycle to wait for my Dad to have results from testing.
