Hi all Have decided to now use an egg donor after 3 failed
ICSI
attempts. Has anyone else been through using an egg donor and how long did you wait for a matching donor x

****sensitive post**
So after five rounds of
ICSI
and the sad loss of two babies I finally get to write my own sensitive post. A year ago today I found out at my 12 week scan that we had lost our baby. Devastated doesn’t even come close to describing how we felt.

Still not coping 3 weeks following failed FET
Also got them to agree to endometrial scratch and imsi (instead of
icsi
as we lost 10 of 13 fertilised eggs last time). I know hfea say the jury's out but I can't face another failure. Its beginning to put our relationship to the ultimate test.

Icsi or Ivf
My wife and I are being recommended
icsi
as we will be using frozen sperm and apparently frozen sperm doesnt have the same motility as fresh. We were wondering if anyone had used a higher graded motility sperm and if this made a difference to their
icsi
choice or not?

My story of hope (sensitive)
We had counselling at the fertility clinic - which I would highly recommend by the way - and began our first round of
ICSI
in September 2017. By February 2018 we had two failed rounds, no Frosties and broken hearts.

A miracle.....(sensitive)
We were told that our only option was
icsi
. We started ivf - 1st round I was on short protocol this had to be cancelled just before egg collection as my body hadn’t reacted to the drugs, then then confirmed I had pcos on both sides and that I was not ovulating.

High sperm fragmentation - conflicting advice. Can anyone help?
So confusing... 3) There are different techniques to reduce the chance of fragmented sperm entering the egg: IMSI, MACS, PICSI and Testi-
ICSI
- which one would you recommend?

Never give up TTC!!!
Our first round of
icsi
was successful but it was a tough journey regardless. The injections, the tablets you have to insert etc. All worth it for preparation but still quite overwhelming. Egg collection day!!! I won’t lie, this had me in tears, I felt violated and it was very uncomfortable.

HSG test. Asking my clinic...
My clinic dont seem to understand that if my 3 cycles run out and I'm still not preggers despite
ICSI
, and as my OH motility improves after VR it'd be pointless trying naturally if there is actually something wrong with me. I could never afford another 3 cycle package. Anyone ever had this test?

DNA fragment
I know if it is a high % then you have
icsi
cycle. Our consultant said the reason it is high is due to "environmental factors" again not sure what that even means Has anyone here had this is and what did your consultant do? Many thanks in advance xxx

HCG injections
Does anyone know what would happen if
ICSI
or IVF happened without the HCG injections? Is it purely used to get the timing of the egg collection right?

My first cycle not going to plan
Since starting
ICSI
I feel like I'm on an emotional rollercoaster ride. I over produced follicles so after egg collection any embryo's were being frozen and they giving my body a rest due to being high risk of OHSS. They then put me on a 2 week course of blood thinning injections.

It’s easier said than done, especially when it’s a struggle to even get out of bed and socialise most days but I’m going to give it my best shot and with this mind set I’m hoping that in the next two months I won’t be writing feelings and ranting about the same sh*t, I can actually talk about our
