All of a sudden, a menstrual cycle after 10 years?
So I've been on the Mirena for about 6 years (had a new one put in last year) and before that I was on the Depo shot for 4 years. I haven't had my period in those 10 years I've been using these methods in order to control my endometriosis and associated pain. Recently in the last month and a half, I've

adenomyosis Diagnosis
I was diagnosed with endo 5 years ago and diagnosed with adenomyosis on Friday. The consultant told me I have good egg reserve for the moment so to take my coil out and try and get pregnant straight away because I will need a hysterectomy in a few years! I’m 34, single, no children and now I feel numb

My mate tells me he thinks there’s a problem with the coil his wife has had fitted. “Why so” said i. “Every time she crosses her legs the garage door opens” says him! 😜😜

Had
ICD
fitted last April after SCA. No problems since but still not had driving licence back. Apparently consultant hasn't completed the forms. I realise Covid 19 is taking priority - so much so that I haven't had a follow up with Cardiologists - but is this usual in your experience.

More pain after having mirena coil?
Hi everyone, I'm new to this site! I have been diagnosed with "suspected" endometriosis and adenomyosis after years of struggling. They won't do a laparoscopy yet to confirm and wanted to try the mirena coil first. I had it fitted a couple of weeks ago on day 6 of my cycle (which I found horrifically

Mirena vs dienogest after surgery?
Hi everyone, hope you're ok. My consultant wants me to have a mirena in during my surgery, but I have done some research and seen that dienogest is possibly better for preventing recurrence (especially of cysts). I also like the idea of taking a pill that I am in control of, rather than having the coil

Hi All, Recently I've experienced a new symptom, after urination and wipe there is blood, can be a lot. Also getting very hot, and actually feel ill pass out. I've got endometriosis, so bleeding after sex, painful tummy etc is normal for me. I checked the strings on my coil, and I couldn't feel them

Hello, Since getting myself in decent health thanks to this forum and liothyronine, I have become quite evangelical whenever I meet another one of us in my everyday life. I am so keen to support and share all the info I have learned from the forum. Today I sent this email to someone I met yesterday who

PMDD, Endo and the Marina Coil
Hi Everyone, This is my first time posting in this group. I was officially diagnosed with Recto Vaginal Endo at the end of last year after 15 years. I've since had it removed and been put on the Marina Coil. Physically I'm so much better than I was but I started getting really depressive episodes

Advice ahead of appointment
Hello all, I am fairly new to the forum and currently undergoing a whole raft of tests for various things. I’ve always had irregular periods as well as issues with weight management, acne and hair growth. These have been more of an issue in the last year or so. I am also under investigation for endometriosis

How is everyone doing today?
Hello friends, welcome to this new day. Woke up today with really low energy. Had some obsessive thoughts following which I had to do some checking. Otherwise it's been okay. How has it been for you guys?

Copper coil help and advise please
I have had the copper coil since 2017 and rarely had a period. Over the past few months I have been getting periods which can last a few days and are either very light or quite heavy. The cramp seems to be worse and I have gotten spots on my face which I have never had before. My partner can sometimes

Missed period with coil.
Hi i was wondering if anybody has experienced a missed period with the copper coil. I am 2 weeks late and have had a negative pregnancy test result. But i am still worried that i am late for my period. I was wondering if this has happened to anybody before? Any advise would be a great help.

A Journey of Faith, Hope and Love - Maura's Story
My first step out of the shadow of my struggle was difficult. I was just a teenager when I developed anorexia and obsessive compulsive disorder. Later came severe anxiety and panic attacks. https://adaa.org/living-with-anxiety/personal-stories/journey-faith-hope-and-love

Double Period? On Copper IUD
Double Period? on Copper IUD I understand that the copper coil makes your period heavier and longer, especially when just inserted. But I'm wondering if it can cause a double period. When I had the coil inserted, I had very bad cramps for 2 days, then my period started. A little heavier, but nothing
