Second lap soon... nervous!

Hi everyone, So I had a lap 2 years ago by a general gynae and nothing was found. Also had a normal ultrasound. Paid privately to see a bsge specialist and on physical exam he felt nodules so booked me in for mri and another lap in his nhs clinic. I went to see him yesterday and the mri came back clear

Going Vegan

Hi -- I have been planning to go vegan for a few months now to help save my kidneys -- but this was interrupted by multiple cardiac arrests in June, a diagnosis of AFib, and the insertion of a pacemaker and a defibrillator (ICD).

Having a bad day.....

I'm sat here trying to be positive. I was diagnosed a few years back with endo. Tried different things and in the end went in for keyhole. It went really well and honestly recovery was fab and I felt instantly better. I had the mirena coil fitted to be proactive and again, all went great. Surgery was

Post-Surgery

Hello, all! I'm new to the site and have a few questions for my fellow gals suffering with endo and PCOS. On October 22, I had a endoscopy, D&C and IUD placement surgery. Everything is healing good, but I've never had a surgery like this and don't know what's "normal" while I heal. First off, I have

Newbie Feeling Rubbish

Hi all, just wondering if feeling this rubbish is normal! Had laparoscopy 2 weeks ago which confirmed endo. They said there was a lot but they burnt? what they could and the rest was too near my kidney. They fitted a coil and I've to go back in 6 months. I've signed off work for 2 weeks and due to go

Relationship OCD is ruining my life. Ways to stop it?

Hello. So I’ve been in an amazing relationship with this guy for 7 months. I’ve always had anxiety/OCD, but I’ve never experienced OCD that focuses on my relationship. Anyways, recently I’ve begun having obsessive intrusive thoughts about my boyfriend’s interest in me, whether he’ll lose interest, whether

Mirena coil- only option- your feedback would be appreciated!

Hello. I had the worst flare up I’ve had for a long time a few weeks back. I was throwing up with the pain and spent several days in bed sleeping/on strong painkillers. The dr has recommended the mirena coil. I’ve had this recommended to me before but have been terrified! Now I feel it’s my only option

Brugada's syndrome

My consultant has refered me for an urgent sub-cutaneous ICD. Sounds odd but I really do not want one, but also know what not having one fitted means to my family. Anyone else with these thoughts. Pete

Endometriosis- tracking apps??

Hi there, I was diagnosed with endometriosis when I was about 16 years old so have lived with it for more than half my life already. In 2006 I had a laparoscopy with helica and a coil was fitted. Was the worst thing ever - was in agony all the time - gp kept telling me it would settle down and could

Does anyone else suffer from Harm OCD, intrusive thoughts? Do they go away with medicine? I'm really worried they won't go away.

Hi, I had my first laparoscopy on Wednesday which diagnosed Stage 4 endo with deep infiltration of the bowel & douglas pouch. Am walking very slow when i do move ( also had chronic hip pain past 3 years which could be due to this endo) and avoiding any bending as its very sore but I was only given one
