Misery
Tried tylenol and when that didn't help I tried
ibuprofen
. When that didn't help I tried Voltarin gel for the neckache. What rankles the most is my wife got the same injections and was fine all day; No reactions. Right now I wish I was a drinker. Maybe alcohol would dull the pain.

A long post - How medication was ruining my life, not making me better! Reassurance for anyone concerned about stopping medication.
Whilst on my period I have been able to manage with paracetamol,
ibuprofen
and a portable tens machine. This has allowed me to enjoy living again. I've not had a sick day off work since and am able to socialise with my family like I used to.

My first post. A tricky start to my journey.
They asked me to do an ovulation test that evening which showed normal levels, so they suggested it could’ve just been a I hadn’t yet had my Cetrotide injection when I had the test, and advised me to take
ibuprofen
.

Weird symptoms after medical abortion
Wednesday morning I take the two Misoprostol pills after breakfast together with
Ibuprofen
and buscopan (on medical advice). I start bleeding about 1-2 hours after taking them, but not a heavy flow like my normal period. After another 3 hours I take the remaining 2 Misoprostol pills.

Too fast follicle growth
The clinic told me to take
ibuprofen
to avoid ovulation over the weekend. I will see them on Monday for another scan. Wouldn’t
ibuprofen
have an impact on the quality of the egg? I’ve been avoiding it for the last two years as I read it impacts the follicles.

Delaying 1st ablation: foolhardy or fine?
I reduced thyroid dosage that was a little high, stopped eating at night before bed (which I did before both of the July episodes), stopped taking
ibuprofen
, etc. So far so good. Ablation was recommended for 2 reasons. One, my AF does seem to be ramping up.

Frustration, pain feeling dismissed
I have just been told to take
ibuprofen
by the doctor, thanks doc, I've been doing that for 2 years straight regardless - does anyone know if I can I actually request anything else while I am waiting to be seen?

osteoporosis pain medication
The gp offered me codeine morphine etc but I can’t touch those or
ibuprofen
style medicine so I was wondering if anyone has been prescribed alternatives to opioids and I do not get on with tramadol either and haven’t tolerated never pain meds so I’m worried there isn’t much left.

Rising PSA on taxotere
He has an increase in back pain in the last month, but gets relief with rest and
Ibuprofen
. I don't feel like we have time to waste on treatments that don't work. Are we right in that assumption? We have an appointment next week with the PA. What questions should we prepare? Any advice?

Tips for living with endo & fibromyalgia?
Having
ibuprofen
and strong co codamol on bad days. I am reluctant to keep adding medications into the mix to be honest. My Nan takes gabapentin and said that she gets withdrawals if she misses a night so that really puts me off! Everyone in my family has also had a bad time with amitriptyline.

Swollen Knee
I can't take
ibuprofen
because of meds I'm on. So what do I do? Just cope with this big fat swollen knee?? I'm a pretty active person, I don't run anymore so ignore the username (I should probably change it!). I do lots of hiking and biking and strength training.

Diagnosis Issue
I saw a gynae for the first time in Nov 2021 who basically told me I should take
ibuprofen
and lose weight (I am overweight but not horrendously). She said she’d speak to me again in 3 months to see how I was getting on. 3 months on and no appointment came through.
