More than just benign hypermobility syndrome??
Ive been taking 1
ibuprofen
before bed and it seems to help me sleep and seems to help me wake up to less and bearable stiffness and pain, but is it safe to take
ibuprofen
everyday?

MIXING PRED WITH IBUPROFEN AND OMEPRASOLE
Advised I should go back to taking
ibuprofen
as that works well for my knee pain. Prescribed double dose of omeprasole which she assured me would not result in any gastric reflux. Took first with quite a bit of food but still have reflux. Pain not much improved.

Pain
They say
ibuprofen
or naproxyn, both of which cause stomach upset. Is it wrong for me to take 5mg oxycodone for milder pain? I average 10mg per day, go without some days, and other times need the max. I get no stomach problems with the opiates.

Pain all over, can’t take it anymore
Doc said it was costocondritis and sent me home with
Ibuprofen
. this went on for months, but the pain would be all over my rib cage, the front back and sides would ache.

60mg Pred and outbreak of Herpes Simplex
Ibuprofen
200mg twice daily. In March 2019 had 4 episodes of Curtain drawn across one eye for a few minutes. That converted me to the followers of pred. Most amazing experience ever: no more pain .... Got my old life back with ability to MOVE again. But see above.

I'm taking paracetamol and
ibuprofen
maximum doses and amitriptyline but nothing is helping. I've tried Heat rub and voltarol gel too.

Waiting on a diagnosis
My dr has told me to take paracetamol and
ibuprofen
but this is doing nothing. I am in so much pain and have been struggling to get out of bed. I have a one year old and I can’t even play. I feel so low and really depressed now as I feel like I’m getting no where.

Unbearable pain on ejaculation for a year and a half, no idea what's going on
I took a few
ibuprofen
and walked it off, but the pain wasn't even manageable until about three hours later. This has been recurring ever since, but I've tried getting help multiple times.

? Tendonitis - could anyone advise me please?
I've been elevating it, but can't take
Ibuprofen
as it causes me stomach problems. It's not noticeably swollen, so not strapping it up at the mo. I'm doing the Race for Life at the beginning of July. Was going to go for gait analysis this week, but that's a no-no now.

Well, I think I found my limit!
I took 4
ibuprofen
, and a hot shower. When I go to squat, it feels like I'm going to fall over. So I'm going to take it easy. I have two 12 he shifts sat and Sun. I don't want to make it worse, hurt myself or one of the people I work with.

Worried about possible GCA. Can anyone recommend rheumatologist in N. ireland?
I also took regular
ibuprofen
. I became stiffer and unable to reach my feet, had difficulty getting out of bed etc. Eventually self diagnosed as PMR. Blood tests showed raised CRP 27, normal ESR. My GP agreed it was PMR and prescribed 15mg Pred. Nearly all pain and stiffness gone within 48hrs!

Losing the will!
Nearly June 2019 now, and still not even a peep, been in hospital last month too... again no scan just
ibuprofen
this time even after explaining my strength of medication and the pain level. This week, my pain is intensifying again right from left lower quadrant right down my leg, again.

long time no see hello again
I cannot take
Ibuprofen
because it makes the water retention worse. I can't take another pain killer because I had a reaction. And anything else will make me sick. Does anyone have anything they can recommend. Will heat or ice help? Thank you in advance.

HM training plan on track...
Unlike my previous (and 1st) HM in March, my training plan seems to be working and isn’t making me feel like I need to be on
ibuprofen
& voltarol 24/7. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Day 5 circumcision recovery. Brain fog.
I'm on day 5, haven't taken pain meds other than
ibuprofen
since day 2. Night number 2 I woke sweating with an overall odd feeling, mostly head pressure and some disorientation... I've pretty much convinced myself that I had a mini stroke in my sleep for some reason.

Unexplained abdominal pain ‘episodes’ - anyone relate?
Severe period pain happens every period but what’s different about this is no painkillers penetrate it (I take cocodomol 30mg,
ibuprofen
and codeine top up - I have genuinely tried everything and I take it early because I can usually sense it coming on now I’ve had so many) It lasts around 30 minutes

Blood Thinners (Just kidding BobD) - Anticoagulants and Pain Management
I have been pestering my doctor to take me off Eliquis so I can take
Ibuprofen
again (dealing with sever lower back pain at the moment) but BobD, CD and some others on here have shared some great info that has me considering staying on Eliquis indefinitely.
