I got put on the mini pill 4 months ago and I feel like everything had got worse ESPECIALLY the back and hip pain, I’ve tried hot baths, hot water bottle, paracetamol,
ibuprofen
, feminax, mefenamic acid, naproxen... nothing touches it.

Do you use heat in the summer?
I'm allergic to
ibuprofen
and aspirin, paracetamol doesn't cut it and cocodamol constipates me so is only used in extreme circumstances. I use CBD oil which takes the edge off but heat is what helps the most! However, it's a little impractical in this heat!

W3 R1 tomorrow, left knee pain quite bad now
Ibuprofen
, pills or gel, doesn't seem to touch it. I shall sling the kit in the car tomorrow morning and see how I feel once I've got the kit on and knee supports strapped up. I'm no masochist so will duck out if it feels wrong. Oddly, Saturdays run/reps was fine.

About 8 months ago I began to feel a large lump in my stomach and ignored it until I went in for my yearly check up in February (because as I said I was only experiencing the normal pain from the cycles that was being controlled by medically prescribed
ibuprofen
800’s.) and my doctor asked me if I ever

How Long Does it Take a Bone Mets Fracture to Heal?
For pain I take 800mg
ibuprofen
3x/day. Gaining weight due to inactivity. I was a tennis player & worked out with weights prior to the severe left quad pain.

PERICARDITIS: Does anybody have any answers???
Each time I have had ECG, xray and blood tests and sent home with high dose
ibuprofen
, paracetamol, codeine and told to rest. The most recent time was May 2019. I had to take time of work and it makes normal everyday tasks ridiculously difficult and exhausting.

Weight gain
I’m on 25mg Methotrexate, folic acid, hydroxychloroquine and
ibuprofen
twice a day. I’ve struggled to exercise because of the pain although getting back into the gym and cycling now but I’ve put on so much weight and wondered if it was in part due to the meds? Thanks

Back on the Trails
The nurse told me it was infected so antibiotics if the swelling reached beyond the wrist,
ibuprofen
, elevate, steroid cream, anthisan and drink gin and tonics were the advise.

Headaches, is this normal?
Have tried paracetamol,
ibuprofen
and codeine. I can't really take anything else due to my other meds. The headache is at the back of my head now as well. I have never had such a sore headache that has lasted so long. Its scaring me, and I haven't slept which I'm sure isn't helping.

Pain after laparoscopy
I stopped taking the painkillers (started out with codeine, paracetamol and
ibuprofen
but had to upgrade the codeine to tramadol on the first day out of hospital as the rest weren’t touching the pain) 5 days after the surgery as I really don’t like taking them, but the past three or four days since I

Ibuprofen
Hi ladies, just wanted to share some info I received from my consultant re
ibuprofen
. He is a fertility specialist both NHS and private. In essence if you are trying for a baby don’t even take one
ibuprofen
tablet. It has a highly detrimental impact on ovulation.

Ibuprofen patches?
I do on rare occasions take a couple of
ibuprofen
, I've been prescribed co-codamol but hate the side effects, as if I don't have enough side effects with the Anagrelide and ET!!

Pain and pain management during pregnancy
Prior to pregnancy I took paracetamol/
ibuprofen
/codeine combo. Was told not to take
ibuprofen
but that paracetamol ok and codeine could be used 'sparingly' but to be avoided in third trimester if possible. Any comments gratefully received! Thank you J

Week 2 Run 3
Walked round the shop, then to Lidl, walked round there, drove home, had a banana and 2
ibuprofen
and a 45-minute rest up. Then into kit, strap on the knee supports, and off. The actual routine was ok, the knee supports got me through and I didn't feel like the reps were going to kill me.

Constipation & Drugs
Flare up days
ibuprofen
or solphadine. Along with other drugs Levothyroxine 50mg daily, Omeprazole 20mg twice daily & lastly Atorvastatin 20mg daily. I am now putting on weight, (eat no differently) & going to the loo is getting so uncomfortable so constipated.

But ....today I’ve crashed my toe into a wooden chair and can’t walk never mind run 😳 Ice pack,
ibuprofen
, toes strapped up, no running for several weeks. Please tell me I will get back into it.......I feel sad as I already miss my precious fledgling running habit.
