Non stop sneezing
After 8 months on /
Ibrutinib
I suddenly started sneezing up to 10 times at least on and off . I thaught maybe my cpap machine causing that or just a sinus issue happening . I havnt had sinus problems for 2 years and rarely have colds even though I’m supposed to be immune compromised.

Richter Transformation - Update
I was taking
ibrutinib
when I was diagnosed with Ricther. I also want to tell you that within Richter's Transformation group on Facebook, there are many of us and there are currently several people in complete remission and no one has died yet. That means the new treatments work.

I'm new here. Anyone experiencing blood glucose elevated on low dose (70mg/daily) ibrutinib?
Diagnosed 4-2013 with CLL (trisomy 12). Started first line treatment on 420mg doses/day in 12-16 (white blood cells at 460,000) until extreme drug toxicity in 02-18. Hospitalized with pneumonia and survived. Off drug for two months, then titration dosages from 280, then 140 and finally 70mg / day. Blood

Do you stop Ibrutinib while treated for an infection ?
If you are currently on
Ibrutinib
, do you stop taking it while you are taking an antibiotic to fight an infection ? I am asking because
Ibrutinib
has a tendency to reduce the neutrophile count which, in turn, reduces patient's ability to fight infection.

Vaccines
Would appreciate thoughts: On
ibrutinib
, thinking about asking MD for Shingrix vaccination. I see second Shingrix vaccine should be given 2 to 6 months after 1st vaccine. Wondering if it is advantageous to take 2nd dose closer to 2 months or 6 months after 1st vaccine.

Adding Venetoclax to Ibrutinib
Any thoughts about adding Venetoclax to
ibrutinib
. Been on
ibrutinib
since May 2020, with a beautiful response. Thinking about my future and if it would be beneficial to discuss adding Venetoclax with my MD. I sense he would say not at this time, since I have done so well in the
ibrutinib
.

Results of Phase II Study of Combination Obinutuzumab, Ibrutinib, and Venetoclax in Treatment-Naïve and Relapsed or Refractory CLL
I think the most surprising thing in this report is that not everyone responds - "The overall response rate at that time was 84% in treatment-naïve patients and 88% in relapsed or refractory patients." A short report here: https://ascopubs.org/doi/full/10.1200/JCO.20.00491 Jackie

3 years on Ibrutinib
My ALC is slowly going up after 3 years on
Ibrutinib
. It is now 4.5 up from 2.6. I have no other symptoms. How high does my ALC have to go for me to start another treatment, that is, if I still have no other symptoms such as swollen glands or enlarged spleen? MRD is positive, 53%.

Cracked nails
I would like to thank the person or persons who suggested to use Hard As Nails to help nails from cracking when using Imbruvica/
Ibrutinib
. I started using it and it is helping . I also found out that Vitry nail care for nail repair is also good but more expensive.
