Stopping Ibrutinib
Is there anyone in the forum who has got to Negative MRD on
Ibrutinib
and stopped treatment? I mean negative in blood and marrow. I want to exclude people who stopped because of side effects effects.

Clinical trial for waldenstrom
I started a clinical trial of two oral meds this week:
ibrutinib
and venetoclax. Dana farber is running the 50 person trial. They’re powerful, targeted meds to knock down the cancer.

8 months
So after 8 months on
Ibrutinib
my spleen is close to normal size, my blood count is normal, but 1/4 to 1/3 of my lymphocytes are still CLL. Side effects are gone, although I do get the odd day with stiff joints. Great progress, and my life is almost normal again.

Trying to lose a little weight. Wondering if anyone has done intermittent fasting, and what your thoughts on this may be.

I have had both doses of the Pfizer vaccine, while they applauded me after I got my 2nd dose, 90 days later I found that I have no immunity!
I took
Ibrutinib
prior to January 20 when it gave me AFib and a few other problems, then stated Venetoclax in July of 2020, and in August started the first of six doses of Rituxan.

Anemia While on Ibrutinib
Wondering if anyone has had anemia while on
ibrutinib
? Not from bleeding caused by
ibrutinib
. But just drug related anemia, or disease related anemia without bleeding. Thanks.

Ibrutinib 2021
W and W until starting
Ibrutinib
, February 2021. Vainly looking for travel insurance. My own policy will cover everything but my CLL because for cancer you have to be in remission. Any suggestions of Canadian Insurance companies who may cover me.

Fewer antibodies with second test
I wonder if the
ibrutinib
contributes to the decline? All other tests are excellent. Remain hopeful that we will learn more.

No Antibodies after Vaccine
I've been on
Ibrutinib
for CLL for 7 months now, and the first vaccine dose was 3 months after starting treatment. Really peed off.... as there seems to be no plan on how the NHS will approach this problem with blood cancers.
