Ibrutinib and hypoglycemia
has anyone on
Ibrutinib
experienced hypoglycemia as a side effect? In case I need to go off
Ibrutinib
, what is now the equivalent drug, with equally low side effects, etc.? I'm not up on what's new.

BUPA's get-out clause for cancer
Bupa sees
Ibrutinib
as a one-off yearly treatment, rather than a single claim that simple is ongoing. So my future with Bupa is to simply be priced out of treatment. So much for Bupa's cancer promise!

Do We Stay On Ibrutinib Forever?
From reading this other new post today, it seems every person replying mentions having been on
Ibrutinib
between three and five years currently. Some of those mentioned reaching MRD a year or so ago.

Frontline treatment of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL/SLL) in 2021
Given high response rates with
ibrutinib
, acalabrutinib, and venetoclax, there is no one clearly superior strategy or one-size-fits-all approach.

How long can you take Ibrutinib for?
Hi all, I have just started treatment of
Ibrutinib
(4 months) and wondering generally how long people are on this for? I know this is a ‘how long is a piece of string’ kinda question, but stupidly went onto internet and it said median length of time was about 4 years!

Imbruvica ibrutinib & ACE inhibitors
I have just been told to stop my ramipril due to an interaction with
ibrutinib
having the risk of sudden cardiac death! I have been taking
ibrutinib
daily for 3/4 years with ramipril most of the time and obviously have not had this reaction so it may be very rare or not apply in my case.

Have you relapsed on, or become refractory to a Btki drug such as ibrutinib, or the bcl-2i venetoclax?
Have you relapsed on, or become refractory to a Btki drug such as
ibrutinib
, or the bcl-2i venetoclax? These drugs have radically improved how CLL is treated.

Recovering from Covid
I am currently on second line treatment -
Ibrutinib
for one year A month ago I tested positive for Covid. Needless to say its been a struggle but I am happy to report that today I tested Negative. I still have symptoms and I am sure it will take awhile to fully recover.

Damn Mosquitoes
Since starting
Ibrutinib
I noticed that I wasn’t reacting quite as much to bites received in the UK…..hallelujah I thought. Well I just returned from the Med, where I got 10 mosquito bites, had a bad reaction and one got infected.

Relapsing on Ibrutinib
Hello everyone, as I mention here a few weeks ago, my treatment with
Ibrutinib
is going to end soon due to (Dr. thinks) a mutation. I am going to see the Oncologist in 2 weeks and I have to make a decision which treatment I want to be put on. There are two options open for me.
